Denník z väzenia
Denník z väzenia Ho Či Min napísal počas obdobia, keď bol väznený v niekoľkých väzniciach v Číne za režimu Čankajšeka od augusta roku 1942 do konca roku 1943. Zbierka básní obsahuje 133 básní vo Wen-jene (Wenyan) v starovekých čínskych znakoch, ktoré sa vo Vietname v literárnych kruhoch používali prakticky až do roku 1945. V jeho veršoch sa skrýva nielen odvaha a húževnatosť básnika, ale aj schopnosť pokojne čeliť nebezpečenstvu, či smrti, ako aj jeho večný optimizmus. Verše za takých okolností mohol napísať iba duševne silný človek. Zbierka básní bola preložená do 35 jazykov. V roku 1990 UNESCO ocenilo Ho Či Mina nielen ako Hrdinu hnutia národného oslobodenia, ale aj ako znamenitú Osobnosť kultúry. V staročínskom klasickom štýle verše, strohé lakonické výrazy, na druhej strane obohatené silnými emóciami z vietnamčiny do slovenčiny preložila slovenská vietnamistka Eva Antoshchenko Múčková.

Szerelem gyöngyei
Ki tudna többet a visszautasíthatatlan bókokról és a szerelmes lélek rejtelmeiről, mint Petőfi Sándor? Minek nevezzelek? – kérdi, és szerelmes tekintetével bebarangolja csodálata tárgyát. A ciklus legismertebb, s talán legszebb darabja, a Fa leszek, ha..., amelynek erotikus utalása Petőfi korában merésznek számított. Ám a kötetből a mai olvasó számára is átélhető, hogy a szerelem szabad és kortalan.
Petőfi Sándor (1823–1849) a magyar irodalom megkerülhetetlen alakja, aki modern hangjával és kíméletlen szatirikusságával már életében is ünnepelt költőnek számított. Első, Geibel Károly könyvárusnál megjelent kötete A helység kalapácsa volt, amelyet később – már az Athenaeum Kiadónál napvilágot látott – Szerelem gyöngyei követett. Ezután a költő és Emich Gusztáv, a könyvkereskedő, kiadó és nyomdász sorsa elválaszthatatlan kötelékbe fonódott.
Az Athenaeum jelentette meg Petőfi költeményeinek gyűjteményes kiadását hosszú évtizedeken át. Az Athenaeum Kiadó, amely ma a Líra csoport tagja, alapításának 180. évfordulójára díszkiadással emlékezik meg azokról a szerzőkről, akiknek életművét gondozta.

A versekben szereplő történetek és karakterek hitelességét is igazolva a téma hazai szakértője, az immár Pulitzer-díjas Dezső András (Maffiózók mackónadrágban, Magyar Kóla) írt a kötethez stílszerűen, versértékű fülszöveget: A tartozást behajtják. S a költészetnek volt egy komoly tartozása, amit most Legéndy Jácint fizet ki, hiszen versekbe foglalta a rendszerváltás utáni évek éjszakáinak világát.
A sztorit, a nagy korszakot, amit már sokan megénekeltek, de úgy, ahogy ő, idáig senki sem. Tehát az oratóriumban felbukkanó karakterek jórészt valós szereplők. Emberek, akik dumálgattak, nem sejtve, hogy a történeteik egyszer majd versekben kelnek életre. A maffiafeleség, a maffiafőnök, vagy éppen a börtönben becsavarodott verőlegény drámái ezek. Olyan drámák, amiket a brutalitás, illetve az esendőség keretez, mindaz, amit a rendszerváltás utáni káosz kreált. Dolgok, amelyek az évek múltával szerethetőbbé váltak. Hogy is tartja a mondás?
Az alvilágnak nincs romantikája. Tényleg nincs. De Legéndy Jácint révén immár van költészete.
Železná bohyňa milosrdenstva
Železná bohyňa milosrdenstva je výberom z doterajšej básnickej tvorby autorky. Básnická iniciatíva Bargielskej pôsobí v našom kontexte až prekvapivo nezaraditeľne, ale výnimočne podnetne. Bargielska komentuje súčasnosť vo svojej zložitosti umelecky ľahko. Jej svet je aj naším svetom: k najdôležitejším hodnotám patria ozajstné, autentické vzťahy. Autorkin subjekt ťažké obsahy len naznačuje, prenáša ich do významovo okrajových zón textu, alebo ich prekrýva mágiou slov nesúcich v sebe niekedy až (takmer detský) obranný reflex a istý druh zámernej naivity, ktorou sa potom veľmi invenčne vyrovnáva situačná tenzia básne. (Inokedy je uvoľnenie imanentne nahradené zástupným sakrálnym motívom, ktorý je autonómne zakomponovaný do textu.) Túto kompenzačnú metódu uplatňuje autorka v neimaginatívnych voľnoveršových útvaroch. Pomerne často ide o fiktívny rozhovor (niekedy len samej so sebou), alebo ide o apostrofu, pri ktorej ozvláštňujúco nepôsobí jazyk, ale aluzívna projekcia zvláštnej (normálu sa vymykajúcej) osobnosti s dispozíciou špecifickým spôsobom sprostredkovať a vyrozprávať správu o živote z nečakaného a prekvapivého uhla pohľadu. Bargielskej básnická metóda má v sebe podnecujúcu energiu a pôsobí aj v kontexte súčasnej poľskej poézie umelecky konštruktívne.
