Cusp
There is a density of imagery in Cusp that speaks to an exuberance of spirit and a lively mind. The poems sing off the page, create worlds and make leaps of imagination. We find ourselves unsure of what world we are in, yet always in safe hands. Soiled With Earth, Drunk On Air
Plants are the protagonists in Soiled With Earth, Drunk On Air, Sibila Petlevski’ s self-translated poetry collection written between 2019 and 2020. This collection is a libretto for whispering to magical herbs and listening to the voices of silence. In many ways, these poems predicted the fear and isolation of the global pandemic lockdown, while also offering up a strategy to overcome these hardships through understanding people as a part of nature. These are verses for the ecology of the spirit.

Dis Poetry
Benjamin Zephaniah (1958-2023) was a writer and performer of extraordinary range: an oral poet, novelist, playwright, children’s writer, reggae artist, actor, television personality and political activist. Born and raised in Birmingham, he was sent to an approved school for being uncontrollable, rebellious and ‘a born failure’, ending up in jail for burglary and affray. After prison he turned from crime to music and poetry. He was later nominated for Oxford Professor of Poetry, and voted Britain’s third favourite poet of all time (after T.S. Eliot and John Donne) in a BBC poll. Benjamin was a poet who wouldn't stay silent, who didn't pull any punches, who wrote out of a sense of urgency and a commitment to social justice. Known for his performance poetry with a political edge for adults as well as his poetry with attitude for children, he had his own rap/reggae band. He was the first person to record with the Wailers after the death of Bob Marley, in a musical tribute to Nelson Mandela, which Mandela heard while in prison on Robben Island. Dis Poetry brings together all the poems from Benjamin’s three Bloodaxe collections, City Psalms (1992), Propa Propaganda (1996) and Too Black, Too Strong (2001), as well as some from The Dread Affair (1985), along with previously unpublished work and lyrics from various recordings. The book includes a QR code giving access to Pamela Robertson-Pearce's feature film To Do Wid Me originally released as a DVD-book in 2015 – enabling you to see and hear Benjamin performing in full over 20 of the poems in Dis Poetry on your phone while reading the book.

Šestnásť súkromných a tajných tlačí Laučíkovho vydavateľstva &, ktoré vychádzali v rokoch 1965 až 1975. Okrem čistého, finálneho textu básní obsahuje kniha aj kompletný prepis tlačí s vyznačením dodatočných autorských zásahov, edičnú a technickú špecifikáciu tlačí a varianty ich textov, edičnú poznámku, ktorá sa usiluje rekonštruovať Laučíkov vydavateľský príbeh a obrazovú prílohu.
Zásluhou básnika, bádateľa a vydavateľa Petra Milčáka sa nečakane otvára pred nami ešte jedna nová knižka Ivana Laučíka, ktorý nás opustil pred dvomi desaťročiami.
Je celkom nová, celkom súčasná. A presne zaznamenávajúca trasy aj časy a spôsob svojho vznikania. Aj dnešné náčrty aj zajtrajšie fragmenty. Presné škrty. Možné použitie. Čo tu platí? Čo je definitívne?
To všetko obsahuje Laučíkov jedinečný počin z rokov 1965 až 1975 ukrývajúci sa pod záhadnou šifrou „&“.(Elektronické možnosti tu ešte neboli.) M. Prísne tajne a rovno v bruchu molocha cenzúry a všetkých možných komunistických zákazov aj príkazov – od začiatku do konca týmto svojím gestom trvajúc na potrebe aj na nároku na prostriedky otvorenej tvorivej komunikácie.
Svoje vlastné vydavateľstvo „&“ vedie Laučíkov vytrvalý osamelobežecký impulz: n e p r e s t á v a j , pokračuj, urob jedno „&“ k nemu prilož, pridaj ďalšie „&“ a k nemu ďalšie a ďalšie...
Doslova tenkú stránku po stránke, list za listom. Dodnes ich mám a sú tu s nami.
Máme v nich šancu kráčať ďalej v básnikových kľukato neúhybných stopách pochodu po nedozerných ľadových kryhách driftujúcich stále jedným smerom: naopak.
Sú jasným dôkazom, že platné básne a dokumenty polárnikov sa nefalšujú – ale odhaľujú pred nami.
And. „Prelet medzerami jazyka“ vytvára básnikov vlastný jazyk stále znova.
Hovorí nám: „Dýcham / a je to ako čistý šialený hlas / na konci kontinentu.“

Publikácia TORZÁ s podtitulom Okná, svety / Ikkunat, maailmat predstavuje dvanásty básnický titul poetky Stanislavy CHROBÁKOVEJ REPAR – tiež prozaičky, esejistky, prekladateľky, literárnej vedkyne, editorky a vydavateľky, ktorá píše a publikuje v slovenčine aj slovinčine. Tvoria ju „existenciálne epištoly“ (D. Podracká) – básne, básne v próze a lyrické miniatúry –, ale aj autorské fotografie.
