'Words are Friends' is a splendidlymeasured collection of poems, where the author never strays from the poeticqualities of rhyme and structure. The book is notable for its excellentvariety. Ve sbírce Tomáše Hlinky Nové básně zaznívají na začátku sonety, které představují nejprve poutníka na cestách v krajině vod a lesů, a pak provázejí čtenáře vlídné k veršům, rozličnými situacemi až k hvězdáři, kterého napadají myšlenky o dlouhověkosti při pozorování noční oblohy.
K poutníkům se básník obrací také ve druhé části sbírky, kde jsou v úvodní básni povzbuzováni na cestu vůní růží.
Když vlídní čtenáři procházejí sbírkou Tomáše Hlinky Nové básně dále, mohou se zastavit u jednotlivých básní jako u etap našich životů, naší plavby, rozhlédnout se z rozhledny do krajiny očekávání nebo rozjímat či prožívat chvíle pohody anebo si vybrat z mnoha dalších básní podle svých zálib.
Sedmikráska
Fousáč, hrající na harmoniku, tibetské mísy a ukulele skládá písně na pomezí folku, undergroundu a punku. Vyšly na dvou CD (Mým vesničanům, Miluju já) v hudebním vydavatelství Guerila records. Texty těchto písní, oscilující na hraně mystiky, nyní vychází v básnické sbírce „Sedmikráska“. Básně citlivě doplňují ilustrace Justýny Vitvarové.

Mandle a citróny
Výbor z básnického díla Alberta Manzana (*1955) uspořádaný a přeložený Jiřím Měsícem (*1985) zavádí čtenáře do světa současného španělského surrealismu ovlivněného poezií Generace 27, flamencem a angloamerickou písničkářskou tvorbou. Výraznou roli v Manzanově díle hrají také podněty z abrahámovských náboženství, zen-buddhismu a mystiky, které formují ústřední téma jeho práce: oslavu ženy vnímané jako bránu k B-hu a podstatě lidství. Jeho poezie se odehrává jak v přírodních kulisách, tak ve velkoměstech, jako jsou Barcelona a Madrid, kde svůj hlavní motiv dále propojuje se smrtí, sexualitou, mystikou a rouhačstvím. Tyto náměty pak často zasazuje do humorných až groteskních situací inspirovaných vlastní bezradností a existenciálním hledáním. Součástí knihy jsou také doprovodné texty, které čtenáři přibližují kontext, odkazy a celkovou tematiku Manzanova díla.
Vydání výboru navazuje na autorovu vůbec první publikaci veršů v češtině v revue Protimluv 2/2021 a jeho vystoupení v říjnu téhož roku na literárním festivalu ProtimluvFest v Ostravě.
Bezejmenný tok
Původnost těchto básnických kusů ze sbírky Bezejmenný tok je sympatická svou, snad možno říci, žensky jemnou diferencí mezi emocí a rozumem, mezi expanzí vůči světu a niterností, mezi tím, jak lyrický subjekt vnímají druzí, a tím, co je vskutku mé a co nemohu, a ani nechci sdílet s ostatními. V autorčiných introspekcích se promyšleně střídá realita se snem, přičemž obojí je zesměšňováno a zpochybňováno.
