Hradní kaple
Závěrečný třetí svazek Hradních kaplí pojednává především o době vlády Jiřího z Poděbrad a Vladislava Jagellonského, byť panovník tehdy definitivně ztratil své postavení výsadního stavebníka.
Jedinou velkou realizací se tak stala kaple na Křivoklátě, kterou inicioval Vladislav Jagellonský. Jedná se o stavbu mimořádně důležitou, protože je dochována prakticky v intaktním stavu včetně inventáře. Šlechta naproti tomu postavila velmi početnou skupinu náročných kaplí, kterým vévodí Smečno, Rabí, Švihov, Bor u Tachova a Pardubice. Patnácté století oproti době předhusitské přináší odlišný obraz i co do podoby kaplí. Závěrečná část knihy obsahuje kapitolu věnovanou typologií hradních kaplí, exkurz do 17.–19. století a slovník odborných pojmů.

The aspects of their simple design can be expressed by stacking pallets or contradicted in fragile structures. All around the world furniture items and interior design systems are created along with entire buildings based on the predetermined proportions of pallets. Sometimes the mass product is also demolished and only used in parts: for example, when bisected pallets serve as sideboards or individual boards are recycled as facade cladding."

Architekt, profesor a autor mnoha odborných publikací M. Rajniš se rozhodl sepsat vzpomínky ze svého života plného cestování, netradičních zvratů, úspěchů i pádů. Jako buřič a provokatér, který si celý život razí svojí cestu, chce čtenáři ukázat, že i člověk, nýmand, kterého málem strčili do pomocné školy, může žít bezvadný život. „Přál bych si, aby se čtenář při mým vyprávění odvázal, začal mluvit slangem a vychutnal si krásně vyslovený český nadávky, který se skví jako pralinka na dortu.“
Prof. Ing. arch. Martin Rajniš (* 16. května 1944, Praha) je český architekt a urbanista, spoluzakladatel České komory architektů, několika architektonických kanceláří a zakladatel ateliéru Huť Architektury. Jako pedagog působil na VŠUP v Praze a na Technické univerzitě v Liberci. Je známý především jako autor nové Poštovny na Sněžce nebo Majáku a muzea Járy Cimrmana v Jizerských horách. Věnuje se experimentální architektuře a vztahu architektury k přírodě a k lidské společnosti.
Martin Rajniš o knize… Skutečně mám dobrou paměť a už řadu let mě připadalo potřebný podělit se o příběhy, který jsem za posledních 70 let zažil. Osud mi do cesty přihrál milý stvoření, Magdu (Křížkovou) Šebestovou, která mý košatý zhruba, 100 hodinový vyprávění převedla do 900 stran textu, z kterejch posléze vznikl na 120 stranách týhle knihy koncentrovanej elixír toho, podle nás, nejlepšího. Myslím, že čtenáře budou bavit i krásný fotky, mimo jiný i z mejch četnejch exotických cest, kterých tam bude víc než stovka. Dílo se jmenuje 25 344 dnů vzpomínek, což vystihuje 71 let mého života, během něhož jsem toho zažil skutečně hodně – dětství ve staré Praze s nejrůznějšími výchovnými experimenty svého otce, časy chudoby a vzdoru proti bolševikovi, byl jsem dvanáctkrát v kriminále. Strávil jsem čtyři roky na moři, přeplul na malé lodi s jednou krásnou holkou Atlantik. Projezdil jsem stovky tisíc kilometrů po pouštích, divočinách, pralesech, projel jsem horní toky Amazonky, byl jsem v nejzapadlejších koutech Nové Guiney. Ale zároveň jsem řídil jako architekt velké ateliéry a rukama mi prošlo ve stavebních nákladech skoro 14 miliard korun. Zažil jsem Paříž coby bezdomovec i jako nositel světové ceny za architekturu…
Spolupráce s Magdou (Křížkovou) Šebestovou Magdu jsem poznal koncem sedmdesátých let, když jsme v době třeskutýho bolševizmu dělali pavilon na výstavu do Kanady – já jako mladej architekt a ona jako hosteska. Pamatoval jsem si ji ještě z doby, kdy jako malá holka zpívala s Jiřím Suchým v Semaforu. Potom jsme se dlouhý roky neviděli a až při rozhovoru pro Xantypu kterej se mnou přišla udělat,jsem si uvědomil, jak se umí ptát, jak se umí bezvadně tvářit a hlavně jak skvěle umí psát… tak jsem jí nabídl, že bychom spolu mohli zkusit to moje vzpomínání napsat a ona, zaplať pánbůh, kývla...

Kniha Velkoměsta v 19. a 20. století – křižovatky změn si komparativním prizmatem klade otázku, zda lze z konkrétních historických souvislostí vývoje čtyř evropských velkoměst 19. a 20. století, Londýna, Paříže, Berlína a Vídně – a v odůvodněných případech s přihlédnutím i k řadě jiných měst – vysledovat rozdílné sídelní strategie.
Tato práce se tedy rigidně nedrží pouze vybraných velkoměst, Londýna, Paříže, Berlína a Vídně, ale do srovnávání vstupují i další města vždy, když je to vzhledem k logice výkladu nutné. Často si právě výkladová linie vynutila komparační asymetrii, aby se udržela celistvost interpretace určitého jevu. To se rovněž týká i pořadí čtyř hlavních srovnávaných velkoměst, jejichž sled je odlišný v každé kapitole.

Kapitola Zrod průmyslového města se zabývá koncepty modernizace a industrializace jako součástmi urbanizačního procesu. Oproti urbanismu 19. století se urbanistická teorie ve 20. století interdisciplinovala a především internacionalizovala, jak je doloženo institucionalizováním urbanistických problémů.
Předposlední kapitola se zabývá přeměnou moderního konceptu v postmoderní dohru a poslední shrnuje v otevřeném závěru odlišnosti urbanistických strategií při pozorovatelné shodě.
