Umění a jeho objekty
Klasická Wollheimova úvaha o umění zvažuje zásadní otázky, které se týkají reprezentace, výrazu, stylu, významu umělcova záměru a historické povahy umění. Přestože text vyšel poprvé v roce 1968, je dodnes vnímavým a podmanivým uvedením do filosofických otázek spojených s uměleckými díly a s klíčovou úlohou, jakou hrají v naší kultuře a společnosti. Díky autorově porozumění teorii umění, kritice, vnímání a povaze estetické hodnoty je tato práce jedním z nejvlivnějších děl o estetice, která se ve dvacátém století objevila.
Scéna – výstava – situace
Publikace Scéna – výstava – situace se zabývá současnými přístupy k výtvarně-prostorovému řešení výstav výtvarného umění. Sleduje způsoby práce vybraných současných umělců a umělkyň, architektů a architektek, kteří vedle vlastní tvorby rozvíjejí také praxi realizace výstav, tj. jejich úvahy nad architekturou, scénografií a dramaturgickým čtením výstavních prostorů. Kniha je založena na sérii profilových rozhovorů, jejichž prostřednictvím mapuje různorodé způsoby práce s výstavou jako médiem a pojmenovává specifika jednotlivých autorských přístupů.
První část představuje tuzemské vizuální umělce, kteří tvorbu výstav rozvíjejí buď souběžně nebo nezávisle na své vlastní umělecké praxi (Zbyněk Baladrán, Dominik Lang, Tomáš Svoboda).
Druhá část se zaměřuje na architekty a architektky, jejichž přístup k výstavním realizacím formovalo jak studium architektury, tak různé mezioborové spolupráce (Jakub Červenka, Johanna Meyer-Grohbrügge, Kateřina Radakulan, RUINA office: Magdalena Uhlířová & Adéla Vavříková).
Závěrečná část přináší rozhovory s umělkyněmi, které ve své tvorbě pracují s multimediálními instalacemi a galerijním prostorem jako s aktivně působícím prostředím (Isabela Grosseová, Eva Koťátková, Jolanta Nowaczyk, Alexandra Ivanciu).
Publikaci doplňují tři odborné texty, které volně navazují na jednotlivé okruhy rozhovorů. Marie Kordovská se zamýšlí nad možnostmi vystavování architektury, Dominik Lang reflektuje vlastní přístup k prostorovému řešení výstav a Amálie Bulandrová nabízí úvahu o specifické řeči výstavních prostředí.
Publikaci spoluvytvářejí také autorské ilustrace Františky Iblové, které volně interpretují úvahy zpovídaných osobností o principech jejich tvorby. Významnou součástí knihy je její výtvarné řešení od Žofie Fodorové a Anny Kyněrové.

Theodore de Bry
When Flemish engraver and publisher Theodore de Bry issued the first volume of his America series in 1590, the New World was truly novel for most Europeans. Gleaned from the travel accounts of adventurers like Thomas Harriot, Sir Francis Drake, and Sir Walter Raleigh, De Bry's magnificent engravings brought the new continent and its inhabitants to an enraptured audience across the Atlantic.
From "Virginia" (today's North Carolina) and Florida to Central America and down into Patagonia, the first nine volumes of America depict scenery and encounters between Native Americans and Europeans, revealing the latter's perceptions of the former. Portrayals of European discovery and Native American customs were based on the explorers' reports as well as De Bry's own imagination - he himself never traveled to the New World. Although based in Frankfurt, De Bry laid the foundations of the series while in London, collaborating with artists John White and Jacques Le Moyne, whose original watercolors he adapted for the opening two volumes. With his sons, De Bry formed a family enterprise known for exquisite copper engravings and high-quality illustrations unrivaled in their mastery.
The legacy of America is profound, coloring Europe's earliest visions of the Atlantic world. Throughout the following centuries, countless European illustrations would draw inspiration from the spectacular collection. TASCHEN's edition pays homage to De Bry's finesse, reprinting all 218 plates from the first nine volumes alongside their respective frontispieces and continental maps. Volumes I to VI are based on the original hand-colored editions held at the John Hay and John Carter Brown Libraries at Brown University in Providence; volumes VII to IX are from the Staats- und Stadtbibliothek in Augsburg, Germany.
Exceptionally rare even at the time of completion, De Bry's hand-colored America can finally be admired by all.

Niki de Saint Phalle loved pseudo-orders, which she used to arbitrarily assemble terms and pictograms on a sheet of paper.
