Po úspěšné publikaci Dějiny československého komiksu 20. století se polovina jejího autorského týmu rozhodla soustředit na specifickou část domácí komiksové produkce – obrázkové seriály užívané jako prostředek reklamy. Předkládaná kniha se tak věnuje vztahu komiksu a tiskové reklamy, podrobně mapuje, jaké seriály a jakým způsobem byly užívány k propagaci různých produktů a služeb, a to od roku 1900, prvního doloženého výskytu inzerce ve formě obrázkového seriálu, až po dravá devadesátá léta 20. století. Bohatě ilustrovaný svazek s rozsáhlou obrazovou přílohou připomíná řadu pozoruhodných, leč pozapomenutých komiksových reklamních fenoménů, jejichž tvorbě se věnovali jak v dané době nejvýraznější komiksoví výtvarníci, tak i zkušení propagační grafici.

Publikácia Július Schubert. Posledný predseda Bratislavského umeleckého spolku prezentuje tvorbu Júliusa Schuberta (1888, Bratislava – 1947, Bratislava), bratislavského rodáka, člena a predsedu Bratislavského umeleckého spolku, ktorý v rokoch 1920 – 1945 zohrával významnú úlohu v organizačnej i výstavnej činnosti spolku. Jej cieľom je prostredníctvom nového kunsthistorického výskumu v plnom rozsahu predstaviť doteraz nepoznanú umeleckú tvorbu Júliusa Schuberta a zároveň kontextuálne prepojiť jeho rozsiahle profesijné pôsobenie s komplexným obrazom výtvarného života v mestskom prostredí prvej polovice 20. storočia. Jednotlivé tematické okruhy, úzko prepojené s mestom Bratislava, sú bohato sprevádzané obrazovým materiálom.

Kniha Proměny maskulinit je trans-žánrovou antologií propojující pestrou mozaiku přístupů a cest k tématu maskulinit na osobní, umělecké, filozofické i vědecké rovině. Společně tak tvoříme podoby nových maskulinit. Skrze čtyřicet čtyři příspěvků se v knize setkáváme s množstvím úhlů pohledu a přístupů k tématu mužství - od vědeckých textů, rozhovorů, osobních esejů, přes autorské texty a básně až po umělecké příspěvky jako jsou kresby, fotografie nebo koláže. This volume focuses on thirty botanical species represented in as many works in the Museo del Prado: outstanding paintings and sculptures from the permanent collection, such as Bosch's The Garden of Earthly Delights, Van der Weyden's The Descent from the Cross and Fra Angelico's The Annunciation. Each of the thirty plants is accompanied by a commentary by Eduardo Barba and a botanical illustration by Juan Luis Castillo, as well as a complete detailed reproduction of the work in the Museum.
In the words of Eduardo Barba: ‘Many works of art are full of plants. In others, they are a little more hidden. In all cases, botany is an indispensable part of the story that the artist wants to tell: there are flowers that allude to the dynasty of the person portrayed, leaves that sum up a feeling, trees that transmit to the scene qualities that are specific to them. The species chosen could be present in the artist's surroundings, even at the foot of his studio. On other occasions, however, and as a result of expeditions to different parts of the world, exotic plants from distant countries were incorporated, enriching the artistic flora, especially from the 16th century onwards. In any case, the works of art bear witness to the fascinating ability of artists to observe the natural environment, who portrayed plants with delicacy, as if they were just another character.
