Rozsáhlá publikace kolektivu autorů NFA je první ucelenou vědeckou monografií věnovanou filmům (a jejich digitalizaci) českého režiséra a kameramana, průkopníka české kinematografie Jana Kříženeckého. Opírá se o dlouholetý archivní výzkum filmových materiálů v Národním filmovém archivu a dosavadní zkušenosti s jejich prezentací, i o široké rozpětí metodologických přístupů, zejména o teorii archivnictví a digitální restaurování, dějiny filmové techniky, materialistickou teorii filmu a médií, mediální archeologii, filmovou estetiku, či umělecký výzkum. A VHS gyermekei - A kilencvenes évek meghatározó filmélményei
A VHS-kazetta fekete téglahasábjában van valami titokzatosan diabolikus: mintha egy olyan elátkozott ládika lenne, amiből dzsinneket és démonokat lehet előhívni. Ez a misztikus hatás az egész gyerekkoromat meghatározta. Ezért is volt később, a kétezres években lesújtó azt látni, hogy a nagyobb áruházláncok olyan tempóban próbáltak megszabadulni a készleteiktől, mintha fonnyadt krumpliról lenne szó. A saját szememmel láttam, ahogy a hipermarketben a zöldséges részlegre pakolták a műsoros VHS-eket (emlékszem, ott volt a kupacban például a Dogville is), és kulön mérlegkóddal, kilóra lehetett megvenni a kazettákat, akár a káposztát vagy a tévépaprikát.
Ez a könyv természetesen nem,,csak" a VHS-kazettákról szól, hanem elsősorban azokról a meghatározó filmekről (és filmélményekről), amelyek a kilencvenes évek eklektikus időszakában a generációm ízlését formálták. A huszadik század utolsó évtizedének amerikai filmkultúrája tele volt határfeszegetéssel, újdonsággal és kalandvággyal. Ekkor indultak el olyan, ma is megkerulhetetlen rendezők, mint Quentin Tarantino, Paul Thomas Anderson vagy Christopher Nolan, de Hollywood látképe is sokat változott, többek között olyan filmeknek köszönhetően, mint a Jurassic Park vagy a Titanic, illetve bizonyos műfajok - mint a thriller, a katasztrófafilm vagy a sci-fi - is vérfrissítést kaptak. Koltai 80 - Filmeskönyv
Még a Színművészeti Egyetem elsőéves dokumentumfilm-rendező hallgatója voltam, amikor az egyik tanárunk behozott az órára egy vadonatúj, frissen készült filmet. Azt mondta, nézzük meg, aztán beszélgessünk róla. Ez volt a Sose halunk meg, Koltai Róbert első rendezése. Egyetlen gondolat motoszkált akkor bennem, aminek aztán parázs vitát provokálva hangot is adtam az egyetemen: ennek a filmnek minden kockájából árad a szeretet. A filmet is, bennünket is megérlelt azóta az idő. Nem sejthettem, hogy pontosan 30 év múlva olyan könyvön fogok dolgozni, amely Koltai Róbert filmjeivel foglalkozik, és őt nem csak mint filmrendezőt, filmszínészt, hanem mint életem párját is kérdezem majd. A szubjektív kifejezés ily módon talán adja magát, a monográfiát pedig az magyarázza, hogy a könyv Koltai Róbert mintegy 15 filmjét és az elmúlt közel 30 évet öleli át. A könyvben mesélnek többek között: Bunyik Béla producer Darvas Ferenc zeneszerző Dés László zeneszerző, zenész Grecsó Krisztián író Kern András színművész Miklós Mari vágó Vámos Miklós író Nógrádi Gábor író A szerzőről Gaál Ildikó vagyok, színházi rendező, rádiós műsorvezető, de legfőképpen kíváncsi ember. Érdeklődésem tárgya pedig a másik ember. Filmen, színházban, rádióban és a magánéletben is. Kapcsolódni szeretek. Érteni, érezni, létrehozni.

Rajko Grlić je jeden z nejvýznamnějších chorvatských filmových režisérů. V roce 1971 ukončil studia režie na pražské FAMU.
