Na první pohled je zřejmé, že autor své inscenované snímky, vynikající technickou precizností a téměř magickou prací se světlem, nedává jen tak na odiv řazení do tematických trojic naznačuje, že jejich prostřednictvím vypráví. Jenomže vyprávění si lze těžko představit bez příběhu, a budeme-li v trilogiích příběhy hledat, snadno se můžeme ocitnout ve slepé uličce. Ano, příběhovost z nich přímo čiší, obsahová sevřenost každé trojice snímků i nesčetné detaily a maličkosti vybízejí ke čtení. Závěrečný 7. díl série Normalizační Brno Františka Kressy přináší fotografie z 3. největší části města Brna - z Králova Pole, v níž sídlila jediná česká veterinární univerzita i vojenská akademie. Před rokem 1989 se ale této části říkalo Brno V. Tento díl završuje nedokončenou sérii o bezčasí husákovské normalizace jedinečného brněnského fotografa Františka Kressy, který v dubnu 2019 náhle zemřel. V době 70. a 80. let ale zachytil unikátní podobu Brna a každodenní život jeho obyvatel v sérii 20 tisíc snímků. Ty jsou nyní uloženy v Moravském zemském muzeu v Brně a ukazují atmosféru jakéhokoliv komunistického města ve východní Evropě. Nejzajímavější z těchto fotografií najdou čtenáři v závěrečném dílu jedinečné série.
Auschwitz - Not Long Ago. Not Far Away.

Čas rytířů dalekých moří / The Time of the Knights of the Far Seas
Tato kniha je téměř zjevením. Zpřístupňuje totiž poklad, o který již léta pečuje brněnské Moravské zemské muzeum. V dosud nepublikované šíři tak můžete listovat fotografiemi ze sbírky Jindřicha Vávry, námořního lékaře a přírodovědce. Vávra byl nejstarším českým cestovatelem, který cíleně sbíral fotografické doklady ze svých zámořských cest, během nichž také dvakrát obeplul svět. Jeho fotografická sbírka z let 18651879, čítající na 1 300 fotografií, je zcela mimořádná. K nejpůsobivějším patří záběry z východní a jihovýchodní Asie, z Austrálie či ze severní Afriky. Vedle řady anonymních děl zahrnuje Vávrova sbírka také albuminové pozitivy z éry mokrého kolodiového procesu od fotografů světové proslulosti, jakým byl Samuel Bourne či Wilhelm Burger. Za své zásluhy v oblasti vědy byl Vávra vedle jiných ocenění honorován čestným titulem rytíř Dalekých moří.
