Eva Eisler
Eva Eisler (*1952) si světové jméno vydobyla na poli šperku. Pokud máme hledat nějakou obecnější charakteristiku, je jí to, že svá díla vždy vztahuje k architektuře. V autorčině pojetí má povahu architektonických vizí, konceptů rozsáhlých prostor a rovin. Realizace Evy Eisler v oblasti interiérového designu, výstavnictví i volné tvorby objektů nabývají na důležitosti od 90. let. První veřejné prezentace děl Evy Eisler se ovšem odehrály už v raných 70. letech v Československu. Její zralá tvorba je spjata s pobytem v USA, kam umělkyně odešla v roce 1983 společně se svým životním partnerem, architektem Johnem Eislerem. Po roce 2000 oba opět pracují i v Čechách. Monografie sleduje autorčinu tvorbu v celém jejím časovém rozsahu a typologické šíři. Důraz je položen na šperkařské dílo druhé poloviny 70. a 80. let, kdy Eva Eisler formulovala základní stylové i formální pojetí své tvorby. V severoamerickém prostředí je autorka považována za zástupkyni evropských tradic uměleckého šperku. U nás máme tendenci v ní spatřovat posla amerického přístupu. Netřeba však myslet na provenienci díla, zásadní je nezpochybnitelná kvalita a originalita tvorby Evy Eisler, jejíž dvoujazyčná, anglicko-česká monografie vychází jako druhý svazek edice Design – profily – osobnosti.

Edgar Degas
A towering figure in 19th-century art, Degas is best known as a painter and chronicler of the ballet. Yet his work in monotype reveals the true extent of his restless experimentation. In the mid-1870s, Degas was introduced to the monotype process, a technique in which the artist draws in ink on a metal plate that is then run through a press, typically resulting in a single print. Degas embraced the medium with enormous enthusiasm, inventing a new repertoire of mark-making that included wiping, scraping, scratching, fingerprinting and rendering via removal. The resulting works are characterized by enigmatic and mutable forms, luminous passages emerging from darkness and a heightened tactility. Maria Bartuszova - Provisional Forms
The work of Slovak sculptor Maria Bartuszová (1936-96) was first presented to international audiences in Kassel in 2007. Palo Macho
Palo Macho (1965) patrí k výrazným predstaviteľom súčasného umelecké skla, jeho špecifická pozícia v tejto disciplíne je v tom, že sa dlhoročne venuje maľbe na sklo.
