To za pomoci detailně přesných a názorných kreseb, které zabírají většinu knihy. Autor krok po kroku rozebírá jak obecné principy kresby celé hlavy, tak jednotlivé detaily, jejich stavbu a souvislosti mezi nimi - oči, nos, uši, ústa, vlasy, vousy a jejich vzájemné vztahy a postavení – samozřejmě zvlášť jak pro děti, ženy, tak i muže. Součástí jsou názorné ukázky jednotlivých návodů a postupů výstavby kresby krok za krokem. Kniha je bez nadsázky špičkovým studijním materiálem pro každého, kdo to s kresbou myslí vážně, a neměla by chybět v knihovničce žádného slušného kreslíře, ať již odborně vzdělaného, z řad široké veřejnosti nebo frekventantů různých kurzů. Hlavně však proto, že kresba je základem všeho vizuálního umění pro jakoukoliv další výtvarnou techniku a směr.

"Ávósnak nincs irgalom!", "Menjenek az oroszok a Kárpátokon túlra!", "Ki a kormányból a Rákosi-rendszert is kiszolgáló szovjet talpnyalókkal!"
Ilyen és ehhez hasonló feliratok jelentek meg 1956 lázas napjaiban a pesti utcákon - plakátokon és röplapokon, követelve a magyar függetlenséget, a megszálló szovjet csapatok kivonulását. A forradalom mindennapjaihoz szervesen hozzátartoztak az ilyen utcai falragaszok, képes üzenetek, ábrákkal illusztrált gúnyrajzok, kézi készítésű plakátok. Ezek sokszor művészi színvonalon készültek, ma azonban szinte teljesen ismeretlenek, ugyanúgy, ahogy a forradalom bukása után 1956-tal foglalkozó, természetszerűleg külföldön készült munkák is.
A forradalom leverését követően Magyarországon évtizedekig nem születhettek hasonló művek, hiszen mindenfajta, 1956-ra való utalás (szöveges és képi egyaránt) tiltott volt - és ha mégis megtörtént: éberen figyelték és megtorolták -, így csak a rendszer lassan lazuló évtizedében, az 1980-as évek második felében, ellenzéki szereplők munkálkodásában, a forradalom harmincadik évfordulóján, majd Nagy Imre mártír miniszterelnök és társai újratemetése előtt és a 301-es parcellába tervezett emlékműpályázatkor születhettek ilyen témájú alkotások.
Stíny hieroglyfů. Texty o umění
Pojem hieroglyf nabyl v 19. století na výrazné mnohoznačnosti. Zbavil se souvislosti se svým původním smyslem: psalo se o alegorickém hieroglyfu, o snovém hieroglyfu, o společenském hieroglyfu. Hieroglyf se změnil v metaforu pro vnitřní obraz a vnitřní model, používanou i na charakterizování básnické tvorby. Obrat v pojetí hieroglyfu nastal zejména po rozlišení na alegorický symbol a nevědomý symbol. Kniha Stíny hieroglyfů, rozvržená do pěti kapitol, sleduje rozdílné přístupy k hieroglyfu a alegorii, vůči níž se odlišně vymezovali filozofové, teoretici umění a sami umělci. Přestože se alegorie stala jedním z hlavních nepřátel moderního umění a byla silně kritizovaná avantgardou, dlouhodobě přežívala a zasáhla i umělce, u nichž by se dala sotva očekávat. Jedním z nich byl i Vladimír Boudník, jenž alegorické postupy rozvinul v souboru pastelkových kreseb Corpus delicti (1956), který je v knize poprvé v úplnosti barevně reprodukován.
