Naši lidé v Kaddáfího Libyi
Druhé, doplněné vydání knihy autora, který sám působil v libyjské džamáhíríji pět let v přelomové době, kdy naše vztahy s touto zemí procházely dramatickou změnou. Miroslav Belica vedl po listopadu 1989 zastupitelský úřad Československa v Tripolisu a z této pozice měl možnost nakouknout pod pokličku mnohým zkreslovaným či zamlčovaným kauzám (Lockerbie, československý semtex, dodávky speciálu a působení našich vojenských a civilních odborníků v Libyi atd.). S pomocí archivních materiálů, odborné literatury a vzpomínek pamětníků včetně bývalého premiéra Štrougala evokuje jejich skutečný průběh, ale i události pozdějších let, kdy Západ vzal „zreformovaného“ Kaddáfího krátce na milost, aby vzápětí s využitím džihádistů rozehrál partii násilného svržení libyjského režimu. Kniha je doplněna o kapitolu mapující poslední vývoj v rozvrácené Libyi, který přímo volá po vládě pevné ruky.

The international significance of the art produced in Hungary in the 1960s and 1970s has come to the fore in recent years. Nevertheless, studies of modern and contemporary art in Eastern Europe during the Soviet era tend to focus on their relationship to Western art, with an emphasis on the parallel development of similar artistic practices - an approach that risks overlooking the specific circumstances of the art's making. Hun-Magyar írás és annak fennmaradt emlékei
Fischer Károly Antal volt az első olyan tudós, aki a rovásírás emlékeit először összegyűjtötte. Könyve először 1889-ben látott napvilágot és már a megjelenésével is komoly vihart kavart az őstörténettel és az ősnyelvvel foglalkozó tudósok körében, de komoly támadás érte a régi hagyomány követői részéről is. A mai modern tudomány "A hun-magyar írás és annak fennmaradt emlékei"-t ma is időszerűnek tekinti és további kutatásra méltónak ítéli.

Gulag - Számontartva
Balogh Istvánt a Pázmány Péter Hittudományi Egyetem teológiai hallgatójaként 1941. november 1-jén szentelték pappá Budapesten. Először Szerencsen és Sátoraljaújhelyen volt hitoktató. Egy teológia tanári állást utasított vissza, amikor a tábori lelkészi szolgálatot választotta. 1944-ben behívták tábori lelkésznek. Az orosz fronton legfontosabb feladatának a halottak nemzetiségre való tekintet nélküli eltemetését és a dögcédulák összegyűjtését tartotta. 1945 májusában szovjet fogságba esett, számos orosz lágerban megfordult. Nem engedelmeskedett annak a parancsnak, hogy a fogolytábor területén tilos gyóntatnia, miséznie, tilos a haldoklókat a betegek szentségében részesíteni, a halottakat egyházi szertartással temetni. Kitartó jellemének híre terjedt, és nemcsak fogolytársai, de rabtartói is tiszteletben tartották személyét. Rettenthetetlen jellemének bizonyítéka, hogy méteres hóban, mínusz 40 fokos hidegben temette a halottakat, és ha kellett, a latrinaárokban állva gyóntatta a hadifoglyokat. A táborban társaival együtt többször éhségsztrájkkal vívták ki a hadifogolyjogokat és a misézés lehetőségét is. Ezekben a csatározásokban ő élen járt, amit azzal jutalmaztak, hogy amikor az utolsó transzporttal 1951-ben hazakerült, a szabadság helyett újabb két és fél évig az ÁVH börtöneiben ,,vendégeskedhetett". Ott válogatott kínzásokkal gyötörték. Az ellene készített koncepciós perben pedig azzal vádolták, hogy a lágerben a Vatikán számára kémkedett.

Ľudský génius a civilizácia
Už obálka knihy naznačuje vzťah ľudský génius a civilizácia. Je na nej totiž obraz Adama a Evy, ktorý namaľoval okolo roku 1628 geniálny flámsky barokový maliar P.P. Rubens. Podľa Mojžišovej knihy Genezis boli to prví ľudia. Predstavujú biblický príbeh ich prvého hriechu a následne vyhnanie z Raja, čím skončil zároveň ich spoločný život s Bohom.Pre Adama a Evu začal reálny a krutý život s prírodou, ale zároveň aj symbióza s ňou.Zjednodušene povedané, tu vlastne začala ľudská civilizácia.
Obsah knihy je zameraný nielen na Adama, ktorý v hebrejčine znamená človek - ľudská bytosť, ale aj na Evu, ktorá rovnako je človekom a ľudskou bytosťou. A kniha zdôrazňuje, že tento človek je aj jediným tvorcom ľudskej civilizácie. Autor analyzuje človeka z hľadiska psychologického, filozofického a gnozeologického. Vychádza z nesporného a nemenného faktu, ktorý hovorí, že táto ľudská bytosť od samého počiatku ako sa objavila na našej planéte Zem, mala vo vienku, geneticky daný tvorivý potenciál, ktorý uplatňovala v podmienkach života s krutou prírodou tvorbou takých hodnôt akými boli pracovné nástroje, reč, písmo, architektúra, umenie, ale a poznávanie prírody a Vesmíru. Znamená to zároveň, že sa nedostatočne, alebo vôbec nevyužíva v školstve tento stále existujúci zázračný potenciál tvorivosti v človeku.
V knihe sú v podstatnej miere uvádzané dôkazy o platnosti tohto vzťahu, ktorý existuje medzi ľudskou bytosťou a civilizáciu. Čitateľ sa dozvie informácie o civilizácii starovekého Egypta, starovekého Ríma,Gréckej civilizácii, Čínskej a Indickej, ale aj civilizácii Nabatejskej a Mayskej. Autor knihy porovnáva a interpretuje niektoré archeologické nálezy práve z hľadiska vzťahu ľudský génius a civilizácia. Kniha obsahuje aj bohatý obrazový materiál týkajúci sa rôznych civilizácií, ale aj príklady ľudských géniov, ktorí pozoruhodnou mierou prispeli k civilizácii.

Promýšlet Evropu dvacátého století
Kniha je již čtvrtým svazkem ze série kolektivních publikací mezinárodního týmu mladých badatelů nazvané Promýšlet Evropu 20. století. Tentokrát se autoři zaměřili na tzv. hybatele dějin. Zajímalo je, které osobnosti, události, organizace nebo myšlenky se v průběhu 20. století staly, nebo mohly stát hybateli dějin.
Autoři se ptali, zdali byly skutečnými hybateli dějin osobnosti, nebo teprve dějinná událost poskytla vhodný prostor k tomu, aby taková osobnost mohla vyrůst. Snažili se zkoumat více či méně známé události i osobnosti evropských dějin, jež se možná v dobové perspektivě jako přelomové nejevily, ale s odstupem času je jako takové vnímáme.
Anebo právě naopak jim současníci přikládali dějinný význam, ale později se ukázalo, že je přecenili.
Zároveň však nechtěli přinášet pouze biografické medailony osobností či pouhý popis událostí. Jejich cílem bylo na základě nejnovějších bádání prezentovat nové pohledy na zásadní, ale i méně známé události, osobnosti, organizace či myšlenky, které zasáhly do dějin evropské politiky, hospodářství či kultury a také na interpretační rámce s nimi spojené, jež se pokusili zasadit do celkového kontextu evropských dějin 20. století a do mezinárodních souvislostí.
