Atentát na Heydricha a Praha v době následné heydrichiády. Všichni napjatě sledují drama parašutistů v kryptě kostela v Resslově ulici, které vyústí v již dobře známý tragický konec.
Jména mužských hrdinů jsou všem dobře známá. Jsou ale i ženské hrdinky. Mnohé širší veřejnosti většinou neznámé. Přesto by bez jejich pomoci, odvahy a obětavosti mnohé události proběhly přinejmenším jinak. Základem tématu i děje nové Junkovy knížky jsou pevná a nezpochybnitelná historická fakta. Projekt Wotanův oštěp, který z nich vychází, je však holý nesmysl, stejně jako je další líčení alternativního konce Hitlerovy říše fikcí, kterou by si nikdo soudný nikdy nemohl přát a také my ji čtenářům nenutíme. Přesto je možné přijmout tuto autorovu konstrukci jako reálné varování českého čtenáře před hrozbou dnes již zcela nezpochybnitelnou, protože se takto nabízená licence může proměnit v neblahou realitu našeho mateřského kontinentu až příliš snadno. Jak by se skutečně mohlo stát v duchu závěru knihy: nepotrestají nás bohové, ale potrestáme sami sebe. Už za to, že soudobá euroatlantická civilizace nemá šanci obstát, je-li tolik oslabena zevnitř programovou nesvorností, hlásáním falešných ideí a bůhví odkud řízeným rozsevem civilizačních chorob, ničících běžného Evropana na těle i na duchu.
Peklo severního moře 1916-1918
Druhý, závěrečný díl (1916–1918) rozsáhlého, strhujícího vyprávění o životě, bojích i umírání příslušníků německého Císařského námořnictva za Světové války se opět věnuje všem nejvýznamnějším událostem na Severním moři, mnoha akcím u-bootů. A opět budeme přítomni na jednáních císaře Viléma II. s admirály, poznáme život v německém zázemí… Samozřejmě prožijme i osudové chvíle hlavních postav našeho vyprávění – námořníka Jana Waldena a jeho kamarádů. A opět: Pro ty přátele historie námořního vojenství, kterým nestačí jen suchá faktografie a tabulkové přehledy, nýbrž se chtějí dovědět mnohé i o živoucí podstatě námořního válčení v letech 1914–1918, je tato kniha vítaným přínosem. Věříme, že až ji dočtete, budete se k ní znovu a znovu vracet.
Průzkum bojem
Otto Henning se v roce 1943 po návratu ze severoafrického bojiště vrátil do Německa ke své výcvikové rotě a byl nejprve nasazen jako instruktor na obrněném průzkumném vozidle. Po absolvovaném poddůstojnickém kurzu ho přeložili k 130. pancéřovému průzkumnému praporu, součásti tankové divize Panzerlehr.
Na základě svých podrobných záznamů popisuje své nasazení jeho velitele obrněného průzkumného vozidla a potom jako velitele obrněného průzkumného družstva při vpádu jeho divize do Maďarska, peklo bitev po invazi Spojenců v Normandii, ústupové boje ve Francii, obětavé nasazení při ofenzívě v Ardenách a závěrečný boj své jednotky v porúrském kotli.
Po zajetí americkými vojáky ho převezli ze zajateckého tábora na porýnských loukách do zajetí ve Francii. Tyto autentické a napínavé vzpomínky uzavírá jeho útěk z francouzského zajetí a šťastný návrat do Sověty obsazené zóny.

Heydrich na Pražském hradě
Reinhard Heydrich nastoupil do funkce zastupujícího říšského protektora 27. září 1941 a setrval v ní do 4. června 1942, kdy zemřel na následky atentátu spáchaného na něj parašutisty Jozefem Gabčíkem a Janem Kubišem o osm dní dříve. Během svého působení na Pražském hradě se Heydrich věnoval nejen krvavé represi proti odbojným Čechům a „konečnému řešení židovské otázky“, ale také problematice přestavby správního aparátu a zajištění fungování protektorátu jako „zbrojnice třetí říše“. Toho všeho, ale i jiných problémů a plánů, se týkaly jeho známé, méně známé i zcela neznámé projevy a stati, jež vznikly v Praze a které nyní poprvé vycházejí v souborném vydání v češtině. Vedle toho kniha přináší pohledy na Heydricha – formulované po jeho smrti – ze strany jiných vysoce postavených členů SS. Samostatnou kapitolu pak představuje pojednání o Nadaci Reinharda Heydricha, která až do posledních válečných dnů působila v Praze.
