Všechny rysy tohoto fenomenálního pole jsou poté představeny synteticky, díky čemuž vyvstanou některé nové úkoly pro současnou fenomenologickou analýzu, a to včetně problému, který byl prvořadý pro Husserla: problému fenomenologické metaetiky či aplikované fenomenologie. Ta je nakonec ilustrována v podobě jedné možné ekofenomenologie, tj. s ohledem na jednu z výzev současného myšlení, jíž je ekologická krize.
