Od roku 1974 do roku 1980 vyrobili v závode Tesla Námestovo 236 kusov. Bol nasadený do riadenia technologických procesov v energetike, v priemysle, ale aj v sociálnej sfére. Toto obdobie sa môže pokladať za začiatok rozvoja IT sektora na Slovensku. Kniha je určená učiteľom informatiky a odbornej verejnosti ako základ pre ďalšie štúdium slovenskej histórie IT.
