Vous a oko a patnáct rukou
Kniha představuje nový, první ucelený překlad Charmsovy poezie do češtiny (260 z celkem 283 básní). Z oněch 23 nepřeložených básní některé nebyly ruskými editory průkazně rekonstruovány, u dalších byla důvodem nezařazení jejich nepřesaditelnost do českého jazykového i kulturního prostředí. Všechny překlady byly pořízeny z prvních verzí básní, a to s ohledem na skutečnost, že autorovy pozdější úpravy nejsou vždy dobře doložené. Zachovány zůstaly i všechny gramatické zvláštnosti a odchylky.
Charmsova poezie je v pravém slova smyslu nonkonformní, nepodbízející se, často groteskní, ironická, sarkastická.

Különös könyv, olvasható regényként és olvasható versek gyűjteményeként, amelyből történetek bontakoznak ki. Hat szereplő lírai monológjai, halljuk és látni véljük őket, oratórium a színpadon. Az üres tér magánya, mindegyikük maga elé beszél, csak az arcok világítanak, mint pontszerű fények a sötétben.
Verssorokba tört mondatok, fájdalomszilánkok: a Délvidék tragikus történései 1920-tól 2020-ig, száz év, szétfutnak és egymásba érnek. Változó országhatárok és örök hontalanság, idegenné vált saját és sajáttá vált idegen. Kegyetlenség és kiszolgáltatottság, szépség és szomorúság, erőszak és szerelem. Történeti olvasókönyv, melyből a kisebbségi lét fájdalma szól, annak az embernek a hangján, akinek saját országában sem adatik meg, hogy otthon érezze magát.
Kivétel nincs
Ezer alakot ölt a lélek, ezer alakot ölt nő és férfi, ezer alakban lélegzik, szenved, gyászol, túlél. Mintha ezek a finom fonállal szőtt szavak összekötnék az ember lelkét állattal, növénnyel – indák növik be a verseket, állatok szuszognak a sorok között, és együtt rajzolják ki az életet, adnak hangot a megszólaltathatatlannak. Általuk válik elmesélhetővé, kihordhatóvá mindaz, ami nehéz, ami fájdalmas.
És ott lüktet minden vers mélyén gyengéd szavakba burkolva a magára hagyott, elfeledett gyermek, és a nő, akivé vált. A nő, aki cipel, a nő, aki kihord, a nő, aki keres, aki emlékszik, aki továbblép. A nő, aki meg akarja érteni, el akarja mesélni mindazt, amit az élet az ölébe csöppentett. Rendet rak, helyet teremt. A nő ezer színét látjuk meg, a nő ezer mozdulata válik mondattá Szabó Imola Julianna érzékenyen megírt verseiben.

V Stesichorovej poéme Herakles zabije okrídleného netvora Géryona, aby získal jeho stádo červeného dobytka. Carson si Géryona predstavuje po svojom: ako dospievajúceho červeného chlapca s krídlami, ktorý sa prvý raz zamiluje. Herakles vystúpi z medzimestskej linky na autobusovej stanici, vkročí Géryonovi do života a zlomí mu srdce. Bielou cestou si ma viedla

První ucelený český překlad Rilkeho francouzských básní doplněný vysvětlivkami a komentáři v synoptickém vydání. Přeložil a komentáři vybavil Miloš Kučera, obraz na obálce Vladimír Véla.
Rilke je výsostně básníkem německého jazyka. Složil stovky německých básní a jaksi mimo i přes čtyři sta básní ve francouzštině. Část z nich přeložil například Vladimír Holan. Náš překlad vychází ze Sämtliche Werke (Bd. II), které opakovaně vydával Rilke-Archiv pod vedením Ernsta Zinna (konkrétně z vydání Insel Verlag, 1987). Rilkovy francouzské básně nejsou žádným rozmarem, ale svého druhu jeho dalším, už posledním vrcholem, či alespoň stoupáním k němu. Pro veřejnost i většinu fanoušků, rilkologů a badatelů jsou současně ale neznámým dílem.
