Shakespearove Sonety predstavujú nový kompletný preklad jedného z najväčších skvostov svetovej lyriky, Shakespearových Sonetov (154 sonetov v rozsahu 2 155 veršov); k nim je priradený preklad básne Milenkin nárek (329 veršov), ktorý vyšiel spolu so Sonetmi aj v prvom, tzv. kvartovom vydaní v r. 1609 a štruktúrne i tematicky na ne nadväzuje. Preklad dopĺňajú podrobné poznámky a vysvetlivky v rozsahu 500 rukopisných strán, ktoré majú ambíciu čitateľom pomôcť zorientovať sa v interpretácii sonetov a ich mnohých kontextov tým, že zhŕňajú názory editorov jednotlivých vydaní a shakespearológov od 17. st. až podnes. Kniha obsahuje aj kalendárium života a diela Williama Shakespeara, doslov a zoznam použitej literatúry. Zbierka sonetov s témou priateľstva a lásky je nepochybne jedným z najväčších klenotov svetovej poézie, ktorý aj po štyroch storočiach znie živo a súčasne.
