Poslední z táborů smrti
Kniha sleduje autorovy osobní zkušenosti s pátráním po posledních svědcích z táborů okamžitého vyhlazení Treblinka a Sobibor. Je vystavěna na základě autorova mnoha-letého výzkumu holocaustu, který započal v roce 2000 návštěvou památníku v Treblince. Právě zde si autor uvědomil, jak málo je v českém prostředí věnováno historii tohoto zřejmě nejvýznamnějšího tábora. Úzkou pramennou základnou se propracoval ke zjištění, že Treblinku přežili jen dva Češi. Jak však ke svému zklamání zjistil, poslední z nich spáchal sebevraždu v roce 1997. Jeho knižní vzpomínky na Treblinku však daly podnět k rozkrytí subtilních okolností, které provázely nejen historii Treblinky, ale i jí typologicky příbuzného tábora Sobibor, odkud se zachránil jen jediný Čech. To vše navzdory nesmírné mortalitě, kterou se oba tyto tábory pyšnily".
Erdély 1918-1919-ben
"Majdnem 40 év után úgy látom, hogy az Erdély 1918-1919-ben című könyvem az utolsó hazai kommunista évtizedben úttörő kötet volt, témaválasztása miatt a hazai történetírásban, valamint az idegen megszállás alatt élni kényszerülő magyarok sorsával kapcsolatos tudományos kutatásban is.
S még egy utolsó, nem kevésbé fontos szempont: sajnos, e könyvem most is időszerű, ugyanis Erdély még mindig román megszállás alatt van, s a mindenkori román kormányok legalább akkora intenzitással nyomják el, soviniszta intézkedésekkel keserítik meg a még ott élő magyarok életét, mint a szintén soviniszta kommunizmus alatt. Amikor e könyvet írtam, azt hittem, hogy nemsokára fölbomlik a hazugsággal és nemzetközi megtévesztéssel, s végül (1918-1919-ben, majd 1944-1945-ben) árulással és fegyverrel összeollózott Nagy-Románia. Ez előbb-utóbb bekövetkezik, azonban addig még nagy küzdelmek várnak a Juhász Gyula által "világ árvájának" nevezett magyarságra.

31. května 1918, půl hodiny před polednem, to bylo datum a hodina prvního použití lehkého tanku Renault FT, který svými konstrukčními prvky – otočnou věží s výzbrojí a motorovým prostorem vzadu v trupu se stal pravzorem všech kategorií tohoto bojového vozidla, tak jak je známe i v současnosti. Tehdy vyrazilo do útoku celkem 21 těchto vozů na frontě široké dva kilometry, severně od vesnice Chaudun, aby podpořily útok 4. a 7.pluku marocké divize na německé pozice. Afričtí pěšáci, kteří v životě neviděli takový podivný stroj, nebyli schopni využít této podpory a vrátili se na výchozí pozice, přesto však německý postup v tomto prostoru ustal. Tanky pronikly půl druhého kilometru do hloubky fronty a po ztrátě tří vozů se vrátily.
Publikace popisuje vývoj a nasazení tanku Renault FT, který se stal prvním tankem zařazeným do výzbroje československé armády.

Lacná kniha Mauthausen (-50%)
Ďábel v líbezné krajině – i tak se dá nazvat jeden z největších komplexů koncentračních táborů v Evropě za druhé světové války. Navzdory tomu bývá často zastiňován jinými, „většími a hrůznějšími“ tábory smrti. Publicista a novinář Václav Vlk se proto v této knize komplexně a obsáhle zabývá tímto opomíjeným místem nacistického řádění – koncentračním táborem Mauthausen.
Autor v knize shrnuje historii tábora a věnuje se Čechům vězněným v táboře. Mauthausen totiž sloužil krom dalšího i jako likvidační koncentrační tábor pro elity českého národa a odbojáře. V táboře zemřelo 294 statečných odpůrců nacismu, kteří pomáhali mimo jiné skupině Anthropoid, mezi nimi například i rodina Josefa Valčíka. U místní „Zdi nářků“ pak zahynul český písničkář Karel Hašler.
Dále se autor v knize podrobně zabývá fungováním tábora, jeho vedením, dalšími pobočnými tábory a celkově jeho významem v době druhé světové války i po ní. Kniha je navíc doplněna mnoha autentickými výpověďmi včetně úvah autora, jehož otec byl členem odbojových skupin V boj a Předvoj.
