Ku svojej päťdesiatke ju Karel Kryl pripravil sebe a svojim priateľom ako darček. V knižke vydal deväť svojich básní, doplnených krásnymi ilustráciami – grafikami, slovenského maliara a grafika Igora Cvacha.
Bohužiaľ bol to aj darček na rozlúčku, pretože svojej päťdesiatky sa už nedožil.
Teraz, po viac ako tridsiatich rokoch sa priaznivci Karla Kryla konečne dočkali druhého vydania tejto básnickej zbierky – jeho posledného autorského diela.
