Blanka Lamrová (nar. 1949) pochází z umělecké rodiny keramiků z Litovle na Hané, její bratr a sestra jsou malíři a ona sama se jako profesionální fotografka celý život věnovala fotografování uměleckých děl.
V knižní formě „Obrazy ve vodě“ je stovka pečlivě zvolených fotografií vodních hladin, které fotografka pořídila od konce osmdesátých let do současnosti. Cyklus rozdělila na témata Kaluže, Řeka a Moře. V černobílých a barevných záběrech snímaných různými fotoaparáty se zrcadlí umělecké nitro autorky i vnější realita v zrcadle vod.
Vidíme zde tedy dvojí zrcadlení, jež se navzájem prolíná do výtvarně vytříbených obrazů.

Rudo Prekop několik let fotografuje studiové portréty osobností, které se v naší společnosti významnou měrou zasloužily o kvalitativní posun kulturní, společenský, mentální, mravní a obecně lidský. Spolu s knihou se připravuje také putovní výstava velkoformátových fotografií. Generační konfrontace v linii jak „nahoru“ – rodiče portrétovaných, tak i v linii směrem „dolů“- jejich dcery, synové, event. partneři. Ústřední postavou je vždy osobnost ze světa neoficiální kulturní a společenské sféry, resp. undergroundu. Rodová mozaika genofondu. Typologie lidsky výjimečných jedinců. Klíčem k výběru aktérů je můj subjektivní pocit úcty vůči portrétovaným. Jejich „zvěčnění“ je mým osobním holdem těmto lidem. Tímto způsobem chci vytvořit pestré portfolio osobností našich dnů a naší doby, kteří utvářeli a utváří podobu na společenských podmínkách nezávislé scény.

Bringing together the world of Parisian fashion brand AMI with the singular vision of photographers from the internationally acclaimed Magnum Photos agency and two guest artists, this book presents a contemporary, intimate, and poignant vision of what family, in the broadest sense, means today. These photographs form a tapestry of modern family relationships and will be exhibited in Paris, Frieze London, Art Basel Miami, and Kyotographie, Japan from September 2022. Custom designed with foil stamping and exceptional details, the cloth Swiss-binding has an unattached spine and wrap-around cover to allow the book to lie flat. Two horizontal double gatefolds and two vertical gatefolds provide a panoramic view of works by four contributors.

The Nansen Photographs
In the late 19th century, the Norwegian Artic explorer Fridtjof Nansen undertook a pioneering expedition: he wanted to reach the North Pole with the specially designed ship Fram. The Nansen Photographs recounts this expedition, from the launch in 1890 through to the end of Nansen’s international lecture tour in 1897, using original photographs alongside personal diary entries from Nansen and seven of his crew members. Together, they illustrate in a poignant and sometimes disconcerting way how the expedition members went about their daily lives and conducted their research, the conflicts they faced, and how they ultimately brought their daring undertaking to its successful conclusion.
This book brings new life to previously known facts and introduces the reader to hundreds of previously unknown photographs from the expedition. The large format of the book brings the smaller details in the photographs to the forefront, providing new insight into the work and life on board, the equipment and the clothing.
Opposing diary entries from Nansen and the men about the same situations show that life on board was not always easy and tell a gripping story of survival and the human condition. Nansen’s lack of empathy and practical skills caused frustration among the men, and several of them resorted to fists to sort out their differences, but nonetheless they all pulled through and set a new standard for arctic expeditions to come.
When Nansen leaves the ship for his legendary 18 month journey with Hjalmar Johansen towards the North Pole, we follow both Nansen and Johansen and the crew left on board through their photographs and diaries. The return to Norway and the spectacular celebration is told in detail through photographs, newspaper reports, speeches, menus and ephemera.
This stunning 712-page book comes with an illustrated dustjacket and contains 850 photographs and illustrations, 35 ship drawings and 25 maps.

Osobitá a dojemná kniha od autorky titulů Just Kids a M Train obsahuje na 365 fotografií a zamyšlení, jež dokládají jedinečnou estetiku Patti Smith. Inspirací pro vznik tohoto díla byl autorčin populární profil na Instagramu. V roce 2018 zveřejnila na této sociální síti první snímek. Pod obrázkem byla krátká zpráva: „Zdravím všechny.“ Patti Smith, která dříve fotila na polaroid, začala na Instagram přidávat fotky z mobilu, na nichž se objevují děti, topení, boty nebo její habešská kočka Cairo. Corbijn gained his fame and reputation with his portraits of famous figures including Nick Cave, Tom Waits, The Rolling Stones, Marlene Dumas, Gerhard Richter, Clint Eastwood, Kate Moss and a host of other influential musicians, artists, filmmakers, models and designers. Adolf Zika se po tříleté odmlce vrátil do světa umělecké fotografie. Jedná se o jeho celkově osmou fotografickou knihu, přičemž jako samostatná kniha uměleckých aktů je tato publikace v pořadí již třetí. Archivum
Archivum shows for the first time in book form over 50 black-and-white prints by leading photographer Kevin Cummins of the band Joy Division.
Cummins, as a young, aspiring photographer from Manchester, had unique access to the band in their very early days, from when they were known as Warsaw to when they later became New Order, after Ian Curtis’ death. Many of these photographs were reproduced by NME and other music magazines in the late 1970s and they helped cement Cummins’ reputation as the greatest music photographer of his generation – subsequently he was made NME’s chief photographer for over ten years.
Archivum includes an exclusive interview with the photographer, Kevin Cummins, which reveals new information about Joy Division, the photographer’s relationship with the band, and Kevin’s techniques for photographing.
The photographic prints (all 10 x 8 inches black-and-whites) are reproduced full size, both front and back, with the photograph’s notes and marks as well as stamps from the music magazines.
This is a unique record of an important archive collection of original photographs of one of the world’s most iconic bands.
