Druhá křížová výprava proti husitům
Druhá křížová výprava z roku 1421 byla jednou z největších vojenských akcí katolické Evropy proti husitům. Navzdory velkolepým přípravám a účasti tisíců bojovníků tažení selhalo. Otázku, proč se tak stalo, si kladli doboví kronikáři i pozdější historikové. Monografia Traja na hranici podrobne rekonštruuje príbeh troch mladých slovenských katolíkov – Konca, Gabaja a Borovského – nespravodlivo odsúdených v roku 1985 za prenášanie náboženskej literatúry. Válečné a poválečné osudy beskydských horalů
Dvacet příběhů vypráví osudy lidí z posledních let druhé světové války. Je to čas neokázalého hrdinství, kdy muži působí v ilegalitě, nebo odcházejí do lesů a hor mezi partyzány. Vlastenectví v tom čase není jen prázdnou frází a často se za ně platí cenou nejvyšší. Zmíněné je vypálení Juříčkova mlýna a tragický osud Juříčkovy rodiny, jakož i partyzánů a odbojářů, kteří v kritickém čase našli v Juříčkově mlýně útočiště. A v prvých hodinách navrácené svobody hrdě vyvěšují na svůj dům československý prapor, který po všechny roky okupace ukrývali v prádelníku s nadějí, že se dočkají svobody.
