Dvě studie k pozdně středověké historiografii
Jak název knihy napovídá, obsahuje dvě studie z oboru historiografie. První se věnuje pozdně středověké oficiální historiografii, která byla psána z pověření panovníků a představitelů států a měst a sloužila k legitimizaci jejich vlády, ospravedlnění jejich politiky a ideologické propagandě. Prvá časť knihy obsahuje zoznam miest, obcí a osád postihnutých nacistickými represáliami, informácie o nemeckých špeciálnych protipartizánskych a zvláštnych jednotkách, štruktúru Pohotovostnej skupiny H a zloženie jednotlivých pohotovostných oddielov. Okrem toho sa čitateľ dočíta aj o ostatných vojnových zločinoch, ktoré na Slovensku spáchali príslušníci osloboditeľských jednotiek – sovietski a rumunskí vojaci. Niekoľko vojnových zločinov majú na svedomí i slovenskí vojaci na východnom fronte počas útoku na Sovietsky zväz. Bohužiaľ vraždenie a popravy pokračovali aj na území obnovenej ČSR tesne po skončení 2. svetovej vojny. Tie spáchali príslušníci Červenej armády a 1. čs. armádneho zboru. O týchto krvavých činoch sa mnohé desaťročia od skončenia vojny mlčalo.
Texty dopĺňajú fotografie obetí, zábery z popráv, rôzne dokumenty, fotografie z povojnových exhumácií, identifikácií a pohrebov obetí. Niektoré z nich neboli doteraz publikované. Tieto krvavé udalosti rokov 1944-1945 nám v súčasnej dobe pripomínajú pamätníky a pamätné tabule na miestach popráv či spoločných hrobov. Fotografie niektorých sa nachádzajú v tejto knihe.

Dějiny starého Mexika
Kronika představuje jeden z hlavních primárních pramenů pro poznání dějin aztécké říše, respektive dějin celé oblasti centrálního Mexika, a to jak pro dějiny období předcházejícího prvním kontaktům s Evropany, tak i pro dějiny jejího podmanění španělskými dobyvateli. Význam Sahagúnovy Historie spočívá mimo jiné ve skutečnosti, že se jedná o dílo založené na materiálu, který jeho autor dlouhodobě a systematicky shromažďoval od místních obyvatel. Kronika ve dvanácti knihách (jedenáct je věnováno různým aspektům života obyvatel aztécké říše v období před jejím dobytím conquistadory vedenými Hernánem Cortésem v letech 1519–1521) byla vyhotovena ve dvou jazykových variantách, v nahuatlu, tj. původním jazyce obyvatel centrálního Mexika, a ve španělštině, psaných na stránce vedle sebe a s četnými obrázky.
Dílo zachycuje autentický pohled původních obyvatel centrálního Mexika na život v dobách před příchodem Evropanů, byť je třeba mít na paměti, že konečný text je výsledkem práce španělského autora, který do něj rovněž vložil své vlastní představy a uspořádal ho v souladu se svými vlastními záměry. Vydání knihy podpořilo Ministerstvo kultury České republiky.

Císařské armády jsou poraženy a vyhnány z Nizozemí i z levého břehu Rýna. Svatá říše římská se rozpadá vlivem revolučních myšlenek, její panovníci v Německu kolaborují s Napoleonem a jejich hlavním zájmem je rozchvátit církevní majetky. Pouze nemnozí uvažují o záchraně Svaté říše a církve; arcivévoda Karel, papež Pius VII., mladý Metternich a další… Chápou, že nestačí vojensky porazit Napoleona. To, co je třeba obnovit, tkví v lidech. Nemůže uspět žádné spiknutí, jehož členem by nebyl i Duch svatý. Chce to zázrak, jinak se Evropa vydá nešťastnou cestou. A samozřejmě, chce to zabít i Napoleona. Blíží se osudový rok 1805.
