Výber z esejí veľkého filozofa 20. storočia – Hansa-Georga Gadamera, ktoré ich prekladateľ Rastislav Nemec vybral z autorových Gesammelte Werke, z ich 7. a 8. zväzku, s ohľadom na tri témy: antiku, estetiku a hermeneutiku. Všetky tri oblasti sa však v esejach prelínajú, vzájomne dopĺňajú a komponujú zmysluplný celok, ktorý dozrieval v autorovej tvorbe dlhé desaťročia. Gadamer týmito esejami osvedčuje nielen široký záber svojho výskumu, ale aj hĺbku, bravúrnosť svojej interpretácie a schopnosť uvažovať v širších súvislostiach. Táto trojica oblastí sa tematicky prelína aj s tromi druhmi ľudských aktivít: počúvať – vidieť – čítať. Každá z nich je naoko pasívna, keďže necháva prehovárať toho druhého, dielo, či text. O autorovi:
Hans-Georg Gadamer (1900 – 2002), nemecký filozof, fenomenológ a žiak Martina Heideggera. Preslávil sa výskumom v oblasti antickej filozofie, jazyka, estetiky a osobitne filozofickej hermeneutiky. Habilitoval sa v roku 1929 na univerzite v Marburgu prácou o Platónovej dialektickej etike. Pracoval na filozofických fakultách v Lipsku, vo Frankfurte a v roku 1949 prevzal katedru filosofie po Karlovi Jaspersovi v Heidelbergu, kde pôsobil aj po svojom emeritovaní v roku 1968.
Ako žije muflón lesný
Toto zaujímavé zviera sa k nám dostalo z dvoch oblastí Stredomoria – z Korziky a zo Sardínie. Preto sa u nich aj prejavuje určitá vzhľadová rozmanitosť podľa toho, z ktorej oblasti sa k nám prišli. Sardínsky muflón je sfarbený dohrdzava a v zime je výrazne tmavší ako korzický.
Mohlo by sa nám zdať, že muflón je len taká „čudná“ ovca, dokonca aj béka. Život muflóna v divej prírode je však úplne iný ako domácich oviec. Na samcovi zaujmú najmä impozantné rohy, ktoré sa mu stáčajú do tzv. tulajky. Ale môžu nás zaujímať aj iné jeho zvláštnosti, napríklad že má oči po stranách hlavy, a preto ak sa chce pozrieť do strany, musí sa otočiť o 90 stupňov. Ak sa chcete dozvedieť viac o tom, v ktorých oblastiach u nás žije, aké má povahové vlastnosti, čo rád konzumuje, ako sa správa, rozmnožuje či odpočíva, prečítajte si jednu z najnovších kníh úspešného autora a skúseného fotografa Ivana Kňazeho a dozviete sa oveľa viac o živote tohto nevšedného zvieraťa, ktoré žije aj na našom území.
Svadby žiab a tance hadov
Žaby sú jednými z neuveriteľných obojživeľníkov, ktoré žijú na našej planéte. Vedeli ste napríklad, že vo vode žaba počuje vďaka vnútornému uchu, ale na suchu kožou a kosťami? Všetky tieto živočíchy – žaby, mloky, jašterice a hady – sú nesmierne zaujímavé, o čom sa môžete presvedčiť, keď si prečítate jednu z najnovších kníh znalca slovenskej prírody a úspešného fotografa Ivana Kňazeho.
