Tradične sa haiku zaoberajú pozorovaním prírody, sveta okolo nás. Haiku zachytávajú zvláštne, prekvapivé, jedinečné, krásne okamihy, situácie, malé odpozorované zažité udalosti.
Autor v knihe zaznamenal do haiku svoje autenticky prežité situácie počas svojich častých prechádzok popri rieke, v lesoch, po poľných cestách, na chalupe, no aj v byte či v meste počas štyroch ročných období jedného roku.
V knihe je vyše 160 haiku a tiež ilustrácie.

Sudden Light
Much of Sudden Light, Irish poet Enda Wyley’s 6th collection of poems, takes place in the centre of her native Dublin where the poet lives. Views and glimpses of the immediate city, both as foreground and background, as well as interactions with its inhabitants, comprise the daily exchange of life and create the sense of a present moment balanced on the city’s various layers of personal and shared history. Many of the poems respond to a wide range of paintings, from Janet Mullarney to Luca Signorelli, and photography is also an inspiration as if memory were a kind of picture-taking or -making – the job of the passing poet to observe, to record, and to move on.

De hol húzódnak az én vagy a te természetes határai? Zilahi Annát a beszéd és a csend lélektana és akusztikája érdekli. Empatikus humorral és következetes játékossággal mutatja meg azt a szerteágazó természeti rendszert, amelynek az ember – hiába hiszi, hogy az irányítója, sőt megteremtője – legjobb esetben is csak a részese. Hol a másik közel engedése, hol az én eltávolítása nyit új perspektívákat, így lesz a figyelem és a gyász mellett a címadó gyengédség is a könyv fontos motívuma.

New York Trilogy
An American long poem in three sections by Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Peter Balakian that moves between decades of tumultuous life in New York City and explosive parts of the Middle East.
