Haiku nadnes
„Haiku vyznáva len jeden čas. Všetko, čo sa v ňom deje, sa deje dnes. Vzniká ilúzia, že je možné čosi pravdivo a okamžite zachytiť, aby sme si v tej istej chvíli uvedomili pravý opak, že esencia prítomnosti nám vlastne uniká. Kočalková pozoruje toto magické Dnes. Zachytáva ho vizuálne presne a esteticky pútavo. Ona sama je však dôsledne mimo záber. Zrkadlí sa len za výberom zvolených slov, ktoré možno čítať i podvojne – napríklad ich farebnú symboliku či jemný náznak personifikácie objektov z prírody. Opismi končiacich súmrakov, dní a ročných období vnáša do haiku nádych smútku, ale i úžasu nad ľudským životom zároveň."
