Fero (František) Malec, novinár, textár, scenárista, humorista a kabaretiér, sa po úspechu historickopublicistickej knihy Vraždy a popravy pod Inovcom prihlásil s knihou básní Skice. Názov naznačuje, že autor nevytvára zložito štruktúrované „veľké plátna“, abstraktné obrazy náročné na dešifrovanie zakódovaných a zašifrovaných významov. Jeho prevažne intímna lyrika je čitateľsky príťažlivá, básne sú obrázky tvorené akoby jedným ťahom ceruzky, pera či štetca, záznamy chvíľ, aké prežíva väčšina z nás. A práve táto ľahkosť, podporená znalosťou práce so slovom, a spevnosť mnohých básní, definujú hodnotu knižky pre čitateľov viacerých generácií, ktorí chcú, aby čítanie bolo pre nich zážitkom.
