Ladička rebríkov
Nová básnická zbierka Ladička rebríkov – ako už názov naznačuje – sa svojím tematickým zameraním a formálym spracovaním hlási k tradícii francúzskeho surrealizmu či slovenského nadrealizmu a českého poetizmu.
Niekomu by sa mohlo zdať, že ide o akýsi anachronický krok dozadu, no z obraznosti básní napísaných výlučne neviazaným veršom vyplývajú predovšetkým dva aspekty. Tým prvým je autorova ambícia posunúť surrealistický spôsob veršovania do súčasnejšej polohy, inak povedané vyťažiť z toľko kritizovanej a zaznávanej poetiky surrealizmu to, čo z nej stále nebolo ešte vyťažené. Druhým aspektom, v podstate dosť ojedinelým a užitočným, je autorova snaha zdôrazniť vitalitu života, zmerať sa na drobné prchavé okamihy, odhaliť v nich prítomnosť večnosti a tým odmietnuť akékoľvek pesimistické či trudnomyseľné, relativistické a cynicko-ironické nálady, ktoré v ére tzv. postmodernizmu či postindustriálnej informačnej spoločnosti celkom neopodstatnene ovládli básnickú produkciu. Autor ako keby pritakal Marcovi Chagallovi, ktorý sa spočiatku hlásil k surrealistickému hnutiu, no neskôr z neho vystúpil s tým, že nesúhlasil s neochotou surrealistov sústreďovať sa na radostnú stránku života.
Autor Ladičky rebríkov v časoch poznačených rozpadom prakticky všetkých spoločenských a kultúrnych hodnôt a rámcov, nevidí inú možnosť, len sa odovzdať radostným stránkam života, chvíľam, ktoré nezaťažuje tlak informačnej a zábavno-militaristickej mašinérie či hegemónia obchodno-úsporných, manipulatívnych a existenčné úzkosti podporujúcich mechanizmov. Čitateľ sa v Ladičke rebríkov stretne s radostnou rozmarnosťou, s hravou pochabosťou, no najmä so slobodou a odpútanosťou od akýchkoľvek dočasných spoločenských či literárnych požiadaviek, módnych trendov či maskovaných ideologických posolstiev.
One Big Time
Lisa Fishman’s latest collection, One Big Time, is a stunning articulation of the author’s “journey-in-place” in the environs around a one-room cabin in Northeastern Ontario over a period of fourteen days in quarantine.Here is the author at her most exacting and exploratory, in poems that hew with lyric precision to the immediate physical and geologic environment. Kritická hybridní edice zpřístupňuje texty novočeské literatury, ve svém edičním řešení spojuje knižní vydání a vědeckou digitální edici (ta byla u prvních třech svazků zveřejňována na DVD, v současnosti jsou digitální edice postupně zpřístupňovány na internetu).
Pátý svazek KHE přináší nové kritické vydání básnické sbírky Kytice Karla Jaromíra Erbena (1811–1870), která poprvé vyšla v roce 1853. Přestože Erbenova sbírka byla v češtině zveřejněna posud více než dvěstěkrát, původní tvar stanovený básníkem ve druhém (1861) a třetím vydání (1871) respektovalo pouze osm dalších vydání sbírky a v této plně autentické podobě byla sbírka naposledy editována v roce 1948. Přítomné knižní vydání se vrací k uspořádání knihy, jak ji naposledy připravil autor, po několika dekádách prezentuje nově ustavený text, který byl připraven na základě důkladného průzkumu textových pramenů. Vychází ze srovnání všech relevantních rukopisných a tištěných časopiseckých a knižních verzí. Následně byl kriticky ověřený text pravopisně aktualizován s novým nárokem na systematičnost a současně se snahou zachovat veškeré zvukové či významové kvality původního Erbenova textu.
Součástí knihy je komentář shrnující ediční historii Kytice. Knižní vydání navazuje na digitální edici KHE. Tato aplikace vedle kriticky připraveného textu nabízí: faksimile rukopisných i tištěných dokumentů, jejich textové přepisy v diplomatickém znění, transliterace rukopisů a soupis všech českých knižních vydání Kytice.

Všude pak viděla husy
Poezie Anny Štičkové v knize Všude pak viděla husy je věnována prožívání národní či náboženské identity a může být cestou k identitě i integritě personální a způsobem jejího budování prostřednictvím generačních vzpomínek a udržování rodových ritů. Autorka tyto osobní vnitřní ponory umísťuje do sugestivního celku s básněmi milostnými, reflektujícími životodárné, ale náročné soužití křehkých a oddaných bytostí, a s texty věnovanými osobním vzpomínkám, stesku po kořenech a jejich aktivnímu zalévání i současným niterným prožitkům, které toto vše přebarvuje. Trauma, vzpomínka, domov a láska mají mnoho vrstev a faset; ty nejhlubší, nejbolestnější vrásy nesnesou přímé pojmenování, je potřeba je vytáhnout na světlo tak, jak to dokáže báseň.
Publikovala dosud dvě básnické sbírky, druhá z nich s názvem Nejsi ze Sudet? vyšla v roce 2019. V posledních dvou letech publikovala mimo jiné na stránkách časopisů jako Host a Glosolália, nebo na webech revue Prostor, Ravt anebo H7O. Její básně se objevily v antologiích Pandezie a Toto je môj coming out a také v antologii textů literární soutěže Vladimíra Vokolka 2023. S překladatelkou Sylvou Ficovou společně přeložily texty Carol Ann Duffy, Emily Dickinson, Amy Lowell a Gertrude Stein, které vyšly v antologii Nebyla jen Sapfó. Štičková je aktivní členkou Asociace spisovatelů a spoluzakladatelkou Asociace malých nakladatelů a knihkupců. Dále působí na Filozofické fakultě Masarykovy univerzity, kde studuje doktorát, ve kterém se věnuje literatuře v socioekonomických souvislostech.
Nic, co mi není cizí
Soubor básní o okamžicích „obyčejného náctiletého“ a pak i „obyčejného ženského“ života. Slova o lásce, naději, o ztrátách partnerů i dětí, odcizení ve společnosti, o těžkém smutku zvaném deprese – a cestě z ní.
Jana Knechtlová sestavila tento soubor z básní, které vznikly v posledních 25 letech. Její verše jsou elegantně prosté i radikálně upřímné. Svou poezií nás zve k tomu uvědomit si, co můžeme mít jako lidé společné. Co je to v člověku, co nemusí být ani dalšímu člověku cizí.

Nad nami
Čitateľom sa po rokoch dostáva do pozornosti výber z poézie Mikuláša Kováča (1934 – 1992),
pre ktorého bola ,,poézia akýmsi bližšie nedefinovateľným postupom proti chaosu a neporiadku v sebe i vo svete mimo mňa. Je to pre mňa akýsi doplňujúci princíp – čosi, čo síce neviem pomenovať. Ale čo dostatočne cítim ako element, chýbajúci v mojej úplnosti alebo k mojej snahe byť celistvý.“
Pre výber básní je signifikantný názov Nad nami, lebo poetický kováčovský svet/obraz sa
odvíjal v priestore medzi Zemou a Slnkom. Takto poézia nadobudla určitý kozmický rozmer – nielen vo fyzickej, ale aj duchovnej dimenzii -, ktorý mu umožnil vyhýbať sa hodnoteniam v intenciách tzv. socialistického realizmu. V básnickej výpovedi cez kozmos ako celok videl i jednotlivé detaily , čo poeticky prirodzeným spôsobom zvýraznil v dialektickej kauzálnej súčinnosti kozmu a prírody s ľudským bytím ako normy antropologického princípu. Výber básní tak podliehal uvedenému kritériu.
Kováčové básne umožnia čitateľovi interpretáciu aj síce časovo vzdialených básní svojim vznikom, ale s výrazným aktuálnym humanistickým posolstvom, ktoré súčasného ,, klikajúceho konzumenta“ virtuálneho sveta vovedie do sveta Nad nami v širších kultúrnych, spoločenských,
etických a ďalších kontúrach s cieľom nielen esteticky pôsobiť jednoduchosťou básnického výrazu, ale najmä sémantickou tajničkou o tajomstvách celistvosti človeka.
Tanec světlem
„Štěpení opuštěných atomů, prahnoucích po rozmrazení citů.“ Verš z knihy Tanec světlem, který říká o její autorce vše podstatné. První sbírka básnířky Anny Pokorné ukazuje, že na tradici přírodní a milostné poezie lze navázat i v soumračné době, kterou definuje klimatická krize. V jejích básních se prolíná láska k člověku i přírodě, míhají se zde rozličná zvířata a mezilidské vztahy mají tu nejvyšší hodnotu. Ona láska prostupující všemi texty je bezpodmínečná a neironická: „Bože! Bože! život a všechno, / chtíč a plameny žita v ječmeni, třesoucí se větve březu a řev a řvoucí vichřice říká, miluju tě.“ Odvaha odhalit ty nejprostší city a myšlenky působí v záplavě ponurých vizí jako zjevení.

With roots in the reggae culture of 1970s Kingston, dub poetry uses the vivid expressions of everyday spoken language to describe and challenge the experience of life on the margins. Later, as Caribbean migrants arrived in countries like Britain and Canada, dub poets faced new issues: racism, discrimination and hostility.
