Camera Work
This title includes highlights from the legendary photo journal. Photographer, writer, publisher, and curator Alfred Stieglitz (1864-1946) was a visionary, far ahead of his time. Around the turn of the 20th century he founded the Photo-Secession, a progressive movement concerned with advancing the creative possibilities of photography, and by 1903 began publishing "Camera Work", an avant-garde magazine devoted to voicing the ideas, both in images and words, of the Photo-Secession. Jana Farmanová patrí k výrazným predstaviteľkám súčasnej slovenskej maľby. Narodila sa v roku 1970 v Nitre, v rokoch 1989 – 1996 študovala na Vysokej škole výtvarných umení v Bratislave.
V tvorbe sa venuje figurálnej a portrétnej maľbe. V centre jej záujmu stoja nehmotné a individuálne skúsenosti z každodenného života, medziľudských vzťahov a náhodných stretnutí.
