Publikace Jan Zrzavý a Benátky se po rozebrání prvního vydání z roku 2010 a dotisku z roku 2011 dočkala druhého, rozšířeného vydání, v němž je uveden kompletní soubor 25 obrazů, které Jan Zrzavý daroval benátským kapucínům. Tato knížka je výslednicí mé cesty, která začala studiem korespondence Jana Zrzavého v Knihovně Národního muzea v Praze a za pomoci mých italských přátel prof. E. Bucciola a prof. G. B. Buciola byla dovršena návštěvou kapucínského kláštera v Benátkách.

Benátské vily jsou světoznámým architektonickým fenoménem. Tato monografie mapuje promítání změn v architektuře Terrafermy v důsledku okupace ostrovním státem Benátkami v průběhu čtyřsetletého období.
Publikace se zabývá formálně-estetickým, tedy uměleckým a funkčně-ekonomickým vývojem vily pod vlivem politických událostí, jak na teoretické, tak praktické úrovni.

Between 1933 and 1945, artistic creativity within the German Reich was almost totally under the control of the National Socialist state. Many artists emigrated. But what about the ones who remained in Germany? Under what social and economic conditions did they focus on their art and what options for activity were open to them?
For artists who did not conform to the system, the years of National Socialism were an era of standstill and isolation. This volume questions this blanket judgement through 15 artist personalities and shows how differently they dealt with ostracism, the lack of audience and the absence of exchange, what possibilities they had for selling and exhibiting their works and to what extent they adapted to the requirements of the Nazi regime.
Some 150 paintings, sculptures, drawings and photographs reflect graphically the contradictions of this time.

Drawing on a vast range of material, from Hegel and Charles Darwin to art history, stories from her own life and popular culture, patterns gradually come into focus, as Van den Broeck asks: what is that strange life-or-death connection between a creation and its creator?
Threaded through each story, and in prose of great essayistic subtlety, Van den Broeck meditates on the question of suicide - what Albert Camus called the 'one truly serious philosophical problem' - in relation to creativity and public disgrace. Jean-Michel Basquiat
Lee Jaffe, a cross-disciplinary visual artist, musician, and poet, took photos of his friend, Jean-Michel Basquiat, when they travelled abroad in 1983. The year 2019 brought a sensational discovery: hundreds of drawings by the writer Franz Kafka (1883-1924) were found in a private collection that for decades had been kept under lock and key. Until now, only a few of Kafka's drawings were widely known. Although Kafka is renowned for his written work, his drawings are evidence of what his literary executor Max Brod termed his "double talent." Irresistible and full of fascinating figures, shifting from the realistic to the fantastic, the grotesque, the uncanny, and the carnivalesque, they illuminate a previously unknown side of the quintessential modernist author.
Kafka's drawings span his full career, but he drew most intensively in his university years, between 1901 and 1907. An entire booklet of drawings from this period is among the many new discoveries, along with dozens of loose sheets. Published for the first time in English, these newly available materials are collected with his known works in a complete catalogue raisonné of more than 240 illustrations, reproduced in full color.
