Jablkoň po čtyřicítce
Začalo to úplně malým jablkoňským zpěvníčkem: pár písniček, texty, notičky, akordy… Ale pak se řeklo, když už, tak už, těch písniček by mohlo být víc a také pár fotek by se hodilo, samozřejmě i nějaké povídání, že nás to nenapadlo dřív. A zpěvníček pomalu rostl a přibýval na váze. Rozhodně by byla škoda nepoužít jablkoňský deníček jednoho z dlouholetých členů kapely, vždyť se to přece samo nabízí, a vůbec, nějaká stručná historie nesmí chybět. V této fázi již poněkud přerostlý malý jablkoňský zpěvníček na čas ustrnul ve vývoji, protože kapela byla zcela vykolejená natáčením nového alba.
Jedva přišlo na svět CD Vykolejená, začalo se intenzivně pracovat. Kapelní matematici vypočetli, že Jablkoň má na krku čtyřicítku, a věc dostala ještě údernější náboj. Písniček byla najednou halda, fotky se rozmnožily téměř desetinásobně, i s popisky jich bylo dost na samostatnou encyklopedii. Historie, pojatá jako rozhovor, se stala široce rozkročeným baobabem, rozvětveným do všech možných směrů. Malý jablkoňský zpěvníček přestal být zpěvníčkem, stal se bichlí. Přišel čas škrtů!
Výsledkem této ne zcela běžné geneze je vcelku přijatelně obsáhlá kniha. Písničky většinou zůstaly, fotek je také dost. Přednost dostaly věci zajímavé, nové, víc neznámé než známé, tajnosti dosud neuniklé. Vznikla vlastně taková historie vedle historie, doplněná fotografiemi a samozřejmě i malým jablkoňským zpěvníčkem
