Giorgio Morandi - Late Paintings
This gorgeously produced monograph focuses on the period during which Giorgio Morandi (1890-1964) developed and refined his investigations of serial, reductive and permutational forms and compositions, a body of work that has had a profound influence on 20th-century contemporary art and painting. Included here are four of the ten iconic "yellow cloth paintings," a series featured prominently in the historic 1998 exhibition at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, and numerous late paintings by the Italian master. Lavishly reproduced, these immersive plates draw attention to the idiosyncratic perspectival and color-driven decisions that give the work its abstract power. In addition to an essay by art historian Laura Mattioli, founder of the Center for Italian Modern Art (CIMA), the book includes a fantastic array of contributions by contemporary artists, including John Baldessari, Lawrence Carroll, Vija Celmins, Mark Greenwold, Liu Ye, Alexi Worth and Zeng Fanzhi. Digitální technologie v hudební tvorbě pro akustické nástroje
První část knihy tvoří práce Jakuba Rataje Převod pohybu lidského těla na zvuk pomocí senzorů. Ta pojednává o průniku dvou rozdílných kompozičních přístupů (real time technologie a instrumentální kompozice) v autorově vlastním díle – hudebně-tanečním představení Umění Manipulace. První kapitola popisuje historický vývoj senzorické technologie v oblasti hudby a tance a zabývá se rolí tanečníka coby hudebního interpreta a s tím spojenými technologickými aspekty. Gilberto dos Santos Agostinho Filho ve druhé části knihy analyzuje tři hlavní typy počítačových algoritmů, které bývají využívány za účelem vytváření hudební kompozice: algoritmy založené na souboru daných pravidel, stochastické postupy a využití umělé inteligence. Hlavní pozornost věnuje vytváření akustického hudebního díla pomocí algoritmických postupů, zejména automatickému generování hudebních partitur a estetickým důsledkům spojeným s tímto druhem přístupu.

Škola houslových etud I
Škola houslových etud I. a II. je komplexní výukový materiál, který je výsledkem celoživotní práce houslisty a vynikajícího pedagoga Václava Krůčka.
Progresivně řazené etudy řeší postupně všechny disciplíny techniky levé a pravé ruky (pohyblivost prstů, dvojhmaty, intervaly, chromatika, melodické ozdoby, výcvik paže, předloktí i zápěstí, základní druhy smyků atd.). Etudy jsou vybrány z mnoha sbírek a houslových škol s přihlédnutím k fyziologickým i psychologickým možnostem žáků určitého věku. Jsou řazeny podle stupně obtížnosti a studijního účelu a zpracovávají technické a výrazové prvky houslové hry od prvních počátků až po dosažení technické vyspělosti.
