Tíz magyar rendezőnő első filmjei az új évezredben
A magyar film különösen turbulens két évtizede van a hátunk mögött. A hivatalos állami intézmények átalakulása mellett egy új rendezőgeneráció színre lépése nyitotta meg a hazai filmtörténet következő fejezetét. A kreativitásával és tettre készségével magának helyet követelő fiatal nemzedék tagjai között első pillantásra is feltűnően sok női rendező indult el a pályán ebben az időszakban.
A fiatalok szolidáris szellemisége és alkotókedve olyan kisebb műhelyeket hívott életre, amelyekben szoros szakmai és emberi együttműködéssel sorra jöttek létre izgalmas, sokszínű filmalkotások. Ez a kötet válogatás, amely rögzíteni kívánja ennek a tűnékeny korszaknak a legjellemzőbb játékfilmes rendezői pályaindulásait. Pillanatfelvétel, amely jellegéből adódóan nem lehet teljes, de 10 magyar rendezőnő első filmjeinek bemutatásával igyekszik megragadni egy új korszak közérzetét.
Dombai Dóra filmkritikus, független kutató, 2013-ban diplomázott az ELTE-n, ahol filmtudományt és esztétikát hallgatott. Tizenöt éve publikál filmkritikákat, filmes tárgyú, illetve esztétikai tanulmányai magyar és angol nyelven jelennek meg. Ez az első önálló kötete.

Abecedár slovenského filmu 1921 – 2021, 2. vydanie
Abecedár tvorí súbor 25 krátkych esejí, ktoré sa venujú abecedne pomenovaným fenoménom našej filmovej kultúry. Pokúšali sme sa zachytiť najvýraznejšie témy nášho myslenia o filme, fenomény a črty filmovej práce, naratívne a vizuálne motívy. Hlavným zámerom abecedára bolo odpútať sa od tradičných postupov chronologizácie, hierarchizácie či kanonizácie. Náš malý filmový archív ešte stále skrýva množstvo neprebádaného filmového bohatstva. Abecedár je z tohto pohľadu najmä pokus o hravejší prieskum a menej zaväzujúce nahliadnutie do viac či menej známych dejín slovenskej kinematografie.

Od architektury k interpretaci
Jaký je rozdíl mezi prezentací a reprezentací architektury? Jaká média lze použít či využít k její interpretaci? Co rozumíme pojmem „architektonické ricordo“ a jak s ním mohou dnešní badatelé, ale i architekti nakládat?
Tyto a mnohé další otázky si kladou autoři monografie Od architektury k interpretaci, jež je pátou, a tedy závěrečnou publikací ze série věnující se teorii architektury, která vznikla pod záštitou profesora Jiřího Kroupy a Semináře dějin umění Masarykovy univerzity. Kniha vychází ze stejnojmenného workshopu konaného ve dnech 7.—8. června 2024, věnovaného interpretaci architektury a způsobům její (re)prezentace. Nad touto problematikou se autoři zamýšlejí z hlediska metodologie či terminologického vymezení, ale věnují se i dalším aspektům přinášejícím recentní pohled na stav bádání v této oblasti. Kromě teorie je zde zohledněn také praktický úhel pohledu zahrnující nejrůznější média, skrze něž lze architekturu interpretovat, jako jsou malba, kresba, grafika a fotografie, případně také dobové texty jako ego-dokumenty či filozofické, náboženské a teoretické spisy.
Autoři v širokém časovém rozpětí od renesance po současnost prostřednictvím úvah nad klíčovými pojmy a přístupy k interpretaci, prezentaci a vystavování architektury poznání tohoto tématu významně prohlubují.

•Števo Rybár(1946) - je najstarším žijúcim slovenským DJom. Prvú diskotéku vo Vysokoškolskom klube v Košiciach odpálil po návrate z povinnej dvojročnej vojenskej služby v Benešove u Prahy v roku 1969 spolu s bratom Paľom pod názvom Bratia Rybárovci. Diskotéky robili spolu aj v ďalších mestách na Slovensku a v Čechách, zúčastnili sa aj na veľkom celoštátnom show československých DJov v Lucerne v Prahe v roku 1972.
•Tibor Apa Egry(1957) - diskotéky začal robiť v roku1979 a robí ich dodnes. Za tých 45 rokov uskutočnil viac ako 2000 podujatí najprv v Československu, neskôr na Slovensku a v Čechách. Je čestným predsedom asociácie Djov a hudobných producentov Slovenska.
•Erik Horváth (1974) - je najmladším členom autorskej trojice, diskotéky však už robí viac ako 30 rokov. Je výkonným predsedom asociácie Djov a hudobných producentov Slovenska. Zároveň realizuje prostredníctvom DJCamp podcasty s DJmi z celého Slovenska.

Two of the most iconic performance artists collaborated for 17 years. This book covers the final meeting between Marina Abramovic and Ulay after year-long conflict.
Marina Abramovic and Ulay met on November 30, 1975, their shared birthday, and became both partners and artistic collaborators. Together they created groundbreaking performances such as Relations in Space, in which they collided head-on for over an hour, Rest Energy, in which they balanced a bow with the arrowhead aimed at Marina's heart, and Night-sea Crossing, in which they sat in silence facing each other for seven hours, repeated 22 times. Their last performance in 1988 consisted of a 4,000 km walk from opposite ends of the Great Wall of China, not to get married, as planned, but to get divorced. After a touching reunion in The Artist is Present in 2010 and a subsequent conflict over rights, they met one last time, shortly before Ulay's death, for a conversation about their love and artistic legacy. This meeting became a final work of art, where the truth behind the masks was explored, not through pain, but in the light of death.
Louisiana Channel filmed their conversation and it has resulted in a richly illustrated book. The book has been selected a Best Danish Book Design of the year.

Marina Abramovic. Free Interdisciplinary Performance Lab
The pioneer of performance art and her class
With the first appointment of the outstanding performance artist Marina Abramovic to the Pina Bausch Professorship at the Folkwang University of the Arts, the focus in the 202323 academic year was placed on transdisciplinarity, artistic daring and social awareness.
The project supervised by Abramovic, entitled "Free Interdisciplinary Performance Laboratory (FIPL)", was realised in a class put together by her, in which she brought together over 20 students from the fields of music (classical and jazz, instrumental, vocal and composition), dance, design, photography, (physical) theatre and directing. The students developed individual or collective concepts for performances and learnt how to develop a longterm performative work form in an experiencebased process. In a workshop entitled "Cleaning the House", which was organised according to a method developed by Marina Abramovic, the students developed a sense of the presence required in performances, including the exploration of their individual physical and mental limits.
