2018 marks the centenary of Egon Schiele's death. In 1918 the OEsterreichische Galerie under Director Franz M. Haberditzl was the first Austrian museum to acquire an oil painting by Schiele during his lifetime. Today the museum owns one of the top collections of paintings from the years 1907 - 1918 by the artist. The publication will examine each work separately and will answer questi ons with regard to their acquisition and subject as well as related works. At the same time, the results of the investigations into painting technique which the works have undergone since 2016 will be presented for the first time. Complementary essays the history of the collection and the changes to the stocks of Schiele's works which are taking place as a result of museum reforms, the exchange of pictures or the restitution of individual works.

Výpravná publikace Martinů obrázky kreslící byla vydána u příležitosti stejnojmenné výstavy v CBM. Nabízí kompletní soubor dochovaných kreseb, jejichž autorem je skladatel Bohuslav Martinů. Jde o unikátní doklad jiné než kompoziční tvůrčí činnosti skladatele: kresby vznikaly ve většině v letech 1910-1920 jako určitá forma umělecké relaxace autora tvořil je čistě pro vlastní potřebu a nepočítal za svého života s jejich uveřejněním. Jsou ovšem vysoce zajímavým materiálem i pro pochopení jeho kompoziční činnosti téže doby, neboť obě sféry (hudební i výtvarná) mají mnoho společného. Publikace je ojedinělá svým obsahem, neboť některé z kreseb skladatele dosud nebyly zveřejněny a především dosud nikdy v historii nebyly publikovány jako ucelený komplet.
Imro Weiner - Kráľ
Reprezentatívna monografia predstavuje na 334 stranách tvorbu Imra Weinera-Kráľa z celého tvorivého obdobia, a to nielen olejomaľbu, ale aj akvarely a kresby. Publikácia nadväzuje na monografiu z roku 2001, ale neopakuje diela už predtým reprodukované. Na rozdiel od predchádzajúcej je rozčlenená do deviatich tematických okruhov, ktoré sú uvádzané citáciami autora a celá kniha je aj bilingválna: francúzsko-slovenská. Okrem autorky koncepcie a textu výtvarnej teoretičky Dagmar Kudoláni Srnenskej je spoluautorkou aj dcéra maliara Elise Weiner Kral, ktorá napísala krásnu a dojímavú spomienku na otca.
Zostavovateľka knihy Dagmar Kudoláni Srnenská sa zamerala na menej známe maľby a tak vybrala na reprodukovanie diela nielen z majetku desiatich slovenských galérií, ale vhodne ich doplnila prácami zo súkromných zbierok. Dôležitou súčasťou monografie je kalendárium, fotografie zo života umelca a jeho rodiny, maliarove spomienky na roky strávené doma a v zahraničí, ako aj jeho komentáre k vlastnej tvorbe a výtvarnému dianiu doby, v ktorej žil a pracoval.
