Hlavná téma 16. ročníka čs. filmologickej konferencie prirodzene vyplynula z projektu rovnomennej celoročnej filmovej prehliadky, ktorú Slovenský filmový ústav pripravil v Kine Lumiere a ktorá si minulý rok pripomínala 120. výročie zrodu kinematografie, legendy o príchode prvých filmových vlakov, ako aj ich emblematické putovanie celými dejinami filmu. Zámerom vydania Zborníka príspevkov je predstavenie historických i estetických paralel modernity, kinematografie a vlakovej dopravy. Predstavuje priestor pre jednotlivé interpretácie, resp. prípadové štúdie obrazov vlakov vo filme.
Sokol mezi obrazy
Monografie se věnuje teorii a dějinám umění, estetice a umělecké kritice Miroslava Tyrše (1832–1884), který je sice všeobecně znám jako zakladatel a vedoucí osobnost Sokola, ale byl také historikem umění a kultury, estetikem a prvním profesorem dějin umění na české části Karlovy univerzity v Praze. Monografie představuje a analyzuje jeho rozsáhlé dílo, které zůstalo ve stínu tělocvičného hnutí. I toto hnutí, společenství, bylo ovšem jeho chápáním kultury a umění silně ovlivněno – Tyrš do Sokola integroval i vzory antického Řecka a důsledně usiloval o renesanci ideálu kalokagathie. Díky tomu se věnoval nejen estetické teorii tělesných cvičení a gymnastiky, ale i teorii umění a stal se prvním českým kritikem zaměřeným výhradně na výtvarné umění. Kniha se proto pokouší jeho názory, rozptýlené v řadě teoretických textů i uměleckých kritik, představit uceleněji a také je zasadit do kontextu dobových názorů, z nichž čerpal.
Zpěvník - Mirek Kemel
Mirek Kemel (1963) je širokému publiku znám především jako vynikající karikaturista, ale již více než tři desetiletí i jako folkový písničkář. Pravidelně vystupuje s řadou vynikajících doprovodných muzikantů. Vydal čtyři autorská alba a nyní připravil i svůj první zpěvník, do nějž zařadil 44 písní.

Historický estetismus
Publikace je tuzemským příspěvkem k tematice reprezentace holokaustu v narativní kinematografii, disciplíně rozvíjené v rámci tzv. „holocaust studies“. Na příkladu československých a českých filmů o holokaustu natočených mezi lety 1948–2019 se zaobírá funkcí tzv. „historického estetismu“, který jako filmová reprezentace uplynulého času představuje reduktivní historickou syntézu, jejímž určujícím rysem jsou opakující se obsahové a stylové stereotypy označené jako „stereotypy iterace“ a „stereotypy prominence“. Práce je rozvržena do čtyř tematických kapitol. První kapitola nastiňuje obecný pohled na problémy s estetickou reprezentací holokaustu ve vztahu k paměti a minulosti. Ve druhé kapitole je tato problematika teoreticky nahlédnuta v konstrukční rovině narativních příbuzností psané historiografie a fikční kinematografie. Třetí kapitola vymezuje „stereotypy iterace“ vzhledem k ideologickému pozadí doby, ve které byly jednotlivé filmy natočeny, a plní funkci stručné přehledové kapitoly z dějin domácí narativní kinematografie s tematikou holokaustu. Poslední, analytická část práce pojednává v rámci případové studie „stereotypy prominence“ jako povýtce nenarativní metaforické a symbolické postupy při stylizaci filmového obrazu, která svou odlišností od tradiční stavby narace činí historický smysl reprezentovaného koncentrovanějším a působivějším.
Raphael. The Complete Works
Raphael (1483–1520) is considered the most important artist of the Italian High Renaissance alongside Michelangelo and Leonardo. In his short lifetime he created around one hundred paintings and numerous frescoes, including nine fresco cycles, on an unsurpassed variety of themes – from sensual female beauties, antique myths and portraits of wealthy Romans and church dignitaries to history cycles and biblical scenes. He produced altarpieces, as well as designing tapestries for the Sistine Chapel and directing the construction of St Peter’s Basilica. His Sistine Madonna is one of the most frequently reproduced religious paintings of all time.
Raphael was a tireless learner, for whom there could be no standing still, no repetition of tried and tested solutions, but only the constant forward thrust of an inexhaustible imagination. He transformed his central theme, the visionary experience of divine grace, into visible pictorial reality. It was his mature work in Rome, and above all the frescoes in the Vatican Palace, that secured him his place in art history. Admired even during his own lifetime as the most modern artist of his day, Raphael’s mastery would pave the way for Mannerism and the Baroque era.

Monografia Divadlo SkRAT. Ctibor Bachratý. Fotografie. má niekoľko prvenstiev – napríklad je prvou publikáciou, ktorá dokumentuje etapu tvorby Divadla SkRAT vo fotografii a je tiež prvou samostatnou publikáciou venovanou tvorbe Ctibora Bachratého. Výber fotografií je vizuálnou prechádzkou takmer 20-ročnou históriou tvorby tohto divadla, ktoré je výnimočným reprezentantom fenoménu devised theatre („metóda kolektívnej tvorby“). Fotografie z 25 inscenácií sú zoradené chronologicky od prvej premiéry (Morča, 2003) až po poslednú inscenáciu, ktorú bolo možné do tohto edičného projektu zaradiť (Skupinová terapia, 2021). Na knihe spolupracovali. Autorkou úvodnej štúdie je Anna Grusková, druhým textom v tejto primárne výtvarnej publikácii je osobne ladený príspevok vedúcej osobnosti SkRATu – Ľubomíra Burgra.
Spoločné východiská, pohľady na tému pomenúva sám Bachratý v citátoch, ktoré čitateľa sprevádzajú fotografickou prechádzkou:„SkRAT prešiel veľkým a odvážnym vývojom. Poetiku tohto divadla zachytávam, ale nedokážem alebo nechcem ju pomenovať a hodnotiť. Na začiatku bola určitá mágia, niečo, čo sa prenieslo zo Stoky a prešlo premenou. A potom prišla tá špecifická paródia v Umri, skap a zdochni. A ďalej tie inscenácie so zvláštnou vizualitou širokouhlého plátna ako napríklad Napichovači a lízači.“ (...) „Vždy mám pochybnosti. Ale keď som vyberal fotografie do tejto knižky, povedal som si – predovšetkým to bude dobré svedectvo o jednom dobrom divadle. Na prvom mieste je to divadlo a až potom fotograf.“ (...) „Moje pomenovanie podstaty SkRAT-u je v týchto fotografiách.“ Autorkou návrhu obálky a grafického dizajnu je Mária Rojko.
