Škola houslových etud I. a II. je komplexní výukový materiál, který je výsledkem celoživotní práce houslisty a vynikajícího pedagoga Václava Krůčka.
Progresivně řazené etudy řeší postupně všechny disciplíny techniky levé a pravé ruky (pohyblivost prstů, dvojhmaty, intervaly, chromatika, melodické ozdoby, výcvik paže, předloktí i zápěstí, základní druhy smyků atd.). Etudy jsou vybrány z mnoha sbírek a houslových škol s přihlédnutím k fyziologickým i psychologickým možnostem žáků určitého věku. První díl dvoudílné školy hry na housle je určen začínajícím žákům základních uměleckých škol. Houslová škola Josefa a Magdalény Mickových představuje progresivně seřazený studijní materiál, který si neklade za cíl být chápán jako tuhý a neměnný postup výuky. Právě díky této variabilitě, otevřenosti a všestrannosti výuky bývá oblíben nejen u učitelů, ale zejména u žáků.
