Leonardo
One of the most accomplished human beings who ever lived, Leonardo remains the quintessential Renaissance genius. Creator of the world's most famous painting, this scientist, artist, philosopher, inventor, builder, and mechanic epitomized the great flowering of human consciousness that marks his era. And yet, so wide-ranging and prolific were his interests that he brought hardly any major undertaking to a final end. In his thousands of notes and sketches, Leonardo would not only demonstrate his graphic genius but also anticipate some of the great discoveries and inventions that would follow him, from key points in anatomy - such as the principles behind blood circulation - through to plans for armoured military vehicles, planes, helicopters and submarines. Leonardo also advanced numerous artistic techniques, achieving a complex psychology in such paintings as The Last Supper and the enigmatic La Gioconda, or Mona Lisa, which continue to mesmerize visitors from around the world to this day.

Marta Taberyová, sochařka a keramička, patří k předním osobnostem této výtvarné kategorie v poválečné české generaci. Narozena v Olomouci, je dnes svou existencí a tvorbou plně zakotvena v Praze. Po studiu na středních průmyslových školách v Železném Brodě a v Praze, získala solidní výtvarné vzdělání na vysoké škole uměleckoprůmyslové v Praze v ateliéru profesora Otto Eckerta (1949–1954). Ve vlastní ateliérové tvorbě, uznávané doma i v zahraničí, realizovala svůj dosavadní profesionální život.

Alex Steinweiss invented the album cover as we know it. In 1940, as Columbia Records' young new art director, he pitched an idea: Why not replace the standard plain brown wrapper with an eye-catching illustration? Milan Dobeš je zriedkavým prípadom slovenského umelca, ktorý sa etabloval na medzinárodnej výtvarnej scéne už v polovici šesťdesiatych rokov minulého storočia. Po ranom období ovplyvnenom impresionizmom a zameranom na motívy Bratislavy sa vo svojom "modrom? období orientuje na výdobytky francúzskej moderny, sústreďuje sa na autonómnosť obrazovej plochy a jej jednotlivých štruktúr. od polovice šesťdesiatych rokov sa naplno venuje konštruktivistickej tvorbe, skúma problematiku svetla a pohybu. Svoje umelecké krédo zhŕňa do dvoch manifestov: O svetle a pohybe (1967) a O dynamickom konštruktivizme (1988). Čoskoro sa stáva jedným z najvýznamnejších predstaviteľom konštruktivizmu a kinetizmu na svete.
