Publikácia vyšla k výstave Ladislav Čemický (1909 - 2000). Maliar, učiteľ, funkcionár, ktorá prebiehala v Liptovskej galérii P. M. Bohúňa od 14.12.2021 do 4.6.2022. Monografia o rodákovi z obce Čemice na Liptove, Ladislavovi Čemickom, je pokusom o revidovanie už známych faktov o umelcovi, pričom jej zámerom je ich aktualizovať a obohatiť o nové poznatky. Publikácia je výstupom dvojročného výskumu internej kurátorky Veroniky Vaculovej Repovej.
Publikácia je v slovenskom a zároveň v anglickom jazyku.

Knížka je hledáním východiska pro nové pojetí výuky knižní vazby. Toto pojetí je zaměřeno na výuku konstrukce knižní vazby jako na výuku estetického prvku uměleckořemeslného objektu. Knižní vazba je představena jako stavebnice z jednotlivých konstrukčních prvků, ty jsou definovány na základě rozboru historických knižních vazeb. Představeny jsou zejména konstrukce knižních vazeb z prvního tisíciletí našeho letopočtu, kdy byl zahájen a v podstatě i ukončen vývoj knižní vazby do podoby, jakou známe dnes. Popis konstrukce se týká zejména knižní vazby sestavené ze složek, která vznikla v západním civilizačním okruhu, a knižní vazby sestavené z dvoulistů, původem z Číny. Vývoj konstrukce knižní vazby je uveden do širších historických souvislostí. Publikace popisuje konfrontaci knižní vazby Východu a Západu, která dala vzniknout novým formám konstrukce a konstrukčních prvků. Grafika a ruční vazba Jan Hybner.

Sakrální stavební projekty vznikající v prostředí Českobratrské církve evangelické, největší protestantské církve v České republice, stojí doposud spíše stranou pozornosti odborné i laické veřejnosti, a to navzdory tomu, že mezi nimi najdeme množství pozoruhodných řešení, která se mohou stát cenným příspěvkem do diskuse o současnosti i budoucnosti církevních budov, stejně jako o aktuálních možnostech liturgického prostoru. Monografie ukazuje, že Českobratrská církev evangelická, obecně považovaná za striktního odpůrce vizuálních zobrazení a estetizace prostoru, disponuje množstvím výrazných architektonických a výtvarných prostorových řešení, která však v mnohých případech zůstávají skryta za zdmi navenek civilně působících staveb. Jejím cílem je tedy otevřít toto téma a prostřednictvím příběhů jednotlivých projektů, architektonických i teoretických vizí a případových studií přiblížit českobratrské interiérové realizace od roku 1989 do současnosti. Součástí knihy je ovšem i popis historického vývoje tohoto specifického stavebního typu a rozsáhlá obrazová příloha.
Jiří Lindovský
Prvním titulem knižní edice Muzea umění Olomouc – Středoevropského fóra, jejímž cílem je prezentovat, kriticky zhodnotit či do širšího kulturního i sociogeografického kontextu střední Evropy konce 20. a počátku 21. století včlenit místní autory, je monografie Jiřího Lindovského. Tvoří ji tři sousledné části – první zahrnuje statě historiků umění Ladislava Daňka a Barbory Kundračíkové, reflektující dílo autora jako celek; druhá část je obrazová, demonstrující hlavní okruhy a témata Lindovského tvorby; a třetí pak představuje vybrané archivní texty, přehled výstav a literatury.
Jiří Lindovský je skutečným mistrem kresby, kresebné vyjadřování je základem jeho uvažování. Zároveň je však v českém prostředí soustavně chápán jako grafik. Jeho vůbec první monografie naznačuje, jak zúžené toto uvažování je – a Lindovského představuje jako autora přirozeně intermediálního, s jasným povědomím o vývoji aktuálních tendencí i uměleckých strategií, jehož pozice v kontextu současného umění je zcela výjimečná. Vedle celoživotní vášně pro viditelný svět a jeho proměny je totiž druhým podstatným prvkem jeho tvorby technika a technologie. Lindovský čerpá z tradice západní kultury, reviduje renesanční postuláty kalokagathie, harmonie tělesného a mentálního, apeluje na hluboce duchovní principy umění. Činí tak věcně a racionálně, aniž by umění zbavil oné podstatné kvality, která přesahuje rozměr každodennosti, jež se ukazuje být ve své podstatě zázračná.
Kočka v nás: Sochař a hudebník Libor Krejcar
Kniha přináší první ucelený pohled na dílo umělce situovaného v prostředí undergroundu východních Čech. Libor Krejcar (1961–2022) žil a tvořil v Hradci Králové, ve Dvoře Králové nad Labem, v Pardubicích a Heřmanově Městci.
Krejcara formovaly vztahy se spolužáky z řezbářské učňovské školy, jako byli Ludvík Hradilek a Pablo de Sax, s umělci Janem Steklíkem a Milanem Langerem či loutkohercem a řezbářem Františkem Vítkem. Úzce propojil hudební a sochařskou tvorbu, zasáhl do oblasti akčního umění a body artu. Zůstával věrný několika tématům a motivům, realizovaným v různých variacích a materiálech (dřevo, sádra, kov). Od počátku osmdesátých let pracoval na cyklu Pantheria, který tvoří precizně vyřezávané, později sádrové sochy kočičích strážkyň, madon a podvratných trofejí. Od devadesátých let na cyklech kovových torz a sypaných obrazů – krajin z odpadu. Zároveň se věnoval hudební tvorbě s proměnlivou skupinou Tamers of Flowers.
Obrazový doprovod knihy tvoří z velké části dosud nezveřejněné materiály z archivů Krejcarovy rodiny a přátel.
