Loutka mezi divadlem, filmem a televizí
Obsáhlá kniha pojednává o vedené loutce v českém filmu a televizi. O prostředcích výtvarného divadelního a filmového jazyka v oblasti loutkové inscenace, seriálu, filmu s divadelními loutkami, zejména v Československé televizi, České televizi a Krátkém filmu mezi lety 1950–2020. Chronologicky po desetiletích sleduje, jak se scénografické pojetí i filmové tvarosloví inscenací a filmů s divadelními loutkami vyrovnávalo s dobovou zkušeností divadla a poetikou filmové loutkové animace. Za jakých okolností a s kterými autory vznikal a postupně se etabloval osobitý loutkářský výtvarný televizní a filmový jazyk. Analyzuje základní tendence, které posouvaly scénografické postupy k tvořivosti a fantazii – černé divadlo, ekranizaci, masky, herce vedle loutky a další, které ve své době značně rozšířily i sám pojem loutkového divadla. Obrazová publikace přinášející stovky archivních snímků slavných loutkových pořadů od Večerníčků až po filmy Jana Švankmajera vychází v nápaditém designu Petra Babáka a Lukáše Kijonky z grafického studia Laboratoř.
Publikace se zároveň pokouší vyplnit jisté vakuum historiografické a teoreticko-estetické literatury v oblasti televizní, filmové a jiné mediální loutkářské tvorby. Vychází především z důkladného průzkumu archivů a na základě faktografického materiálu představuje, pokud možno obsažný a zároveň komplexní přehled zásadních progresivních počinů v tomto oboru, který doplňují analytické a zobecňující teoretické závěry. Tak blízko, tak daleko. České umění 1947–1960
O českém výtvarném umění mezi léty 1947 – 1960 nebylo dosud nikdy uvažováno v širším evropském kontextu, který by se vyhnul stereotypu „železné opony“. Zároveň v pohledu na toto období se opakovaně předávají určitá klišé a stereotypy, která brání v pochopení skutečné povahy a pozice českého umění tohoto období v rámci poválečného světa. Cílem knihy je proto nabídnout nové zhodnocení českého umění této doby, které se vyhýbá stereotypu střední a východní Evropy, ale uvažuje o tomto umění jako o součásti komplikovaného poválečného vývoje celé Evropy. Poprvé se u nás syntetickou formou zaměřuje na celek české kultury v období vrcholného dogmatismu, na její oficiální a neoficiální struktury, včetně prvních let relativního politického uvolnění. Historičky umění Marie Klimešová a Hana Rousová patří k nestorkám oboru, kteří se daným obdobím zabývají většinu svého profesního života. Bez nadsázky není nikdo, kdo by tak komplikované období zpracoval do této hloubky a nutných souvislostí. Text konfrontovaný se čtyři sta padesáti reprodukcemi vede nepochybně i k uvědomění si stmelující nezdolnosti základních hodnot evropské kultury. Výše uvedené povyšuje knihu na jednu z nejdůležitějších i nejpotřebnějších knih, které za posledních několik desetiletí v Čechách vyšly.
Digitální Kříženecký
Rozsáhlá publikace kolektivu autorů NFA je první ucelenou vědeckou monografií věnovanou filmům (a jejich digitalizaci) českého režiséra a kameramana, průkopníka české kinematografie Jana Kříženeckého. Kříženeckého aj.). Monografie obsahuje bohatou obrazovou přílohu, filmografii, bibliografii a rejstříky.
