V českém kontextu ojedinělá publikace o lékařské etice na pomezí učebnice a krásné literatury umně propojující odbornost, příběhy a hluboké porozumění tématu. Lékařskou etiku autorka představuje jako velmi specifický obor kroužící kolem klíčového pojmu dobrý lékař. Kniha uvádí čtenáře do světa, který nabádá k přemýšlení a nenechává ho lhostejným a nezaujatým. Beletristicky čtivé, někdy provokující, ale hlavně osobní a laskavé podání pojednávaných témat je určitě cenným protipólem v době poznamenané hypertrofií povrchních textů o čemkoliv, zahlcujících především virtuální prostor. A možná, že si čtenář odnese z knihy mnohem více než jenom informace: motivaci k vhledu do svého vlastního života i k pohledu na společnost a skrze to i na příležitost kultivování sebe sama.
Činy biskupů hamburského kostela, 2. vydání
Kronika s názvem Gesta Hamburgensis ecclesiae pontificum, tj. Činy biskupů hamburského kostela, je pokládána za zásadní pramen k dějinám severní Evropy v 8.–11. století. Její autor čerpal hojně z pramenů, ale i z vlastních poznatků, zvláště pobytů na dánském královském dvoře. Spis sestávající ze čtyř knih se vyznačuje mimořádnou literární hodnotou, zároveň jde však o významný pramen pro studium nejranějších dějin středoevropského a severoevropského prostoru. Autor v ní přináší zprávy o dějinách a geografii severního Německa, Dánska a dalších skandinávských zemí, přičemž pochopitelný důraz klade především na šíření křesťanství. V této souvislosti zmiňuje také události v severozápadním Rusku, na Islandu a v Grónsku. Nové vydání překladu a komentáře medievistky a znalkyně dějiny Polabských Slovanů Libuše Hrabové (1928–2023) revidovala Magda Králová.

Monografie je zaměřena na zdravotní gramotnost v kontextu ošetřovatelství. Význam zdravotní gramotnosti stoupá, a nutnost její podpory se tak dostává výrazně do popředí.
Zdravotní gramotnosti je na našem knižním trhu věnován poměrně malý prostor. Hlavní autorka a spoluautorky předkládané publikace řeší projekt KEGA se zaměřením na implementaci prvků podpory zdravotní gramotnosti dospělé populace do vzdělávání v oboru ošetřovatelství. Jedním z výstupů uvedeného projektu je i předkládaná monografie.
