Učebnica je určená svojim obsahom a metodikou jeho výkladu predovšetkým ako povinná literatúra k štúdiu predmetu Klimatizácia v IV. ročníku inžinierskeho štúdia v študijnom programe Energetické stroje a zariadenia na Strojníckej fakulte STU.

Publikácia ROVNICE, NEROVNICE, SÚSTAVY A VÝRAZY je poslednou časťou série Matematika jednoducho a ľahko určenej žiakom 7. až 9. ročníka základnej školy a 2. až 4. ročníka osemročných gymnázií. Každá kapitola obsahuje niekoľko vzorovo vyriešených úloh s postupom výpočtu a s rôznymi alternatívami riešenia. Riešené príklady sú zoradené podľa náročnosti od najjednoduchších po zložitejšie. Na konci kapitol sú neriešené úlohy bez postupu výpočtu, doplnené kľúčom so správnymi výsledkami v závere knižky. Žiaci majú pri počítaní postupovať podobným logickým postupom ako pri vyriešených príkladoch.
