Dejiny Slovenského národného divadla sú zrkadlom kultúrnych dejín Slovenska.
Na doskách našej prvej profesionálnej scény sa počas sto rokov jej existencie striedali témy aj účinkujúci, ideológie i nadčasové umenie.
Tridsaťpäť odborníkov rôznych zameraní i generácií spojilo svoje sily, aby na pozadí spoločensko-politického kontextu predstavili dejiny národného divadla inak, ako býva zvykom. Z tritisíc premiér vybrali sto emblematických inscenácií činohry, opery i baletu a v troch zväzkoch zdokumentovali vývoj divadelného umenia, ale i dejiny našej spoločnosti.
Diogenes Kynik znovu naživu a Patriarcha Abraham
První část knihy přináší nový překlad Komenského školní hry z roku 1640 Diogenes Cynicus redivivus. Tento známý text čekal na nové přetlumočení celých 54 let; nový český převod bude jistě pro mnoho čtenářů lákavější než zestárlý překlad. Erik nám tieto úvahy, ktoré sa často prikláňajú k pocitu absurdity, resp. neriešiteľnosti základnej nezmyselnosti ľudského údelu, servíruje v stráviteľnej podobe.

From Edouard Manet’s portrait of naturalist writer Émile Zola sitting among his Japanese art finds to Van Gogh’s meticulous copies of the Hiroshige prints he devotedly collected, 19th-century pioneers of European modernism made no secret of their love of Japanese art. The Loft Law
A stunning visual journey through the last vestiges of New York City’s artist lofts
Envied by artists and apartment hunters alike for their wide windows and open floor plans, New York City’s lofts were once manufacturing centers in the late 19th and early 20th century. As urban densification pushed industry into the suburbs, these buildings were left empty. Looking for cheap rents and ideal studios, artists struck bargains with landlords to live and work in commercially zoned spaces. By the 1970s, these same artists faced eviction as their landlords embraced the new wealthy clientele that seeped into neighborhoods such as SoHo, Tribeca and the Bowery. Enacted in 1982, Article 7-C of the Multiple Dwelling Law, better known as the “Loft Law,” allowed artists to obtain legal occupancy and rent stabilization. After discovering a map of the protected buildings, documentary filmmaker Joshua Charow embarked on the ambitious project of documenting them. Over two years, he rang hundreds of doorbells, interviewing over 50 artists still living in these lofts, and photographing them in their spaces, alongside their works in progress and the unique modifications they have made to the lofts to meet legal standards. This timely untold story paints a portrait of a bygone era of New York’s downtown art scene.

Celok je menší ako súčet jeho častí
Publikácia k výstave Celok je menší ako súčet jeho častí, podobne ako formát výstavnej prezentácie i samotná architektúra pôvodnej výstavy, ktorá sa konala 26. 11. 2021 až 30. 5. 2022 v Mirbachovom paláci GMB, vychádza z výskumu tvorby neoavantgardného umelca Petra Bartoša (1938) a artikuluje i formy jeho autorskej prezentácie.
Sleduje formát atlasu s alternatívnym viazaním a skladaním vyklápacích listov, ktorý reflektuje Bartošovu takzvanú nástenkovú estetiku, kde autor v rámci svojej tvorby asociatívne skladá jednotlivé obrazy a apelatívne texty. Okrem Bartoša boli na výstave a sú v katalógu zastúpení i ďalší slovenskí a rakúski umelci a umelkyne Petra Feriancová, Andreas Fogarasi, Martin Hrvol, Anna Jermolaewa, Ingeborg Strobl, Lois Weinberger, ktorých spája neantropocentrický prístup a vo svojej tvorbe spochybňujú predstavu o ľudskej nadradenosti nad neľudským svetom (zvierat, rastlín a prírody vôbec).

Rokko Juhász - Kozmonomád
Katalóg výstavy performera, básnika a organizátora festivalov Rokka Juhásza (1963) predstavuje výber z jeho performerskej dráhy z uplynulých rokov (2013 – 2023). Jeho aktivity sa realizujú najmä na zahraničných intermediálnych platformách, projektoch a rezidenčných pobytoch. Všestranného tvorcu s viacerými identitami, možno považovať za duchovného dediča novozámockého rodáka, avantgardistu Lajosa Kassáka (1887 – 1967). Hlásil sa k nemu vo svojej tvorbe a v rôznych projektoch (Kassák mail art, 1987, Album Kassákov kód, 2007). V roku 1987 s Ilonou Németh, Ottom Mészárosom a Attilom Simonom, si založili skupinu STÚDIÓ ERTÉ, vytvorili platformu pre experimentálne žánre a organizovali medzinárodné festivaly intermediálneho umenia (1988 – 2018), ktoré vošli do dejín pod názvom Transart communication.
Katalóg glosuje jeho performerskú dráhu za uplynulé desaťročie. V tomto období sa zúčastnil diania na medzinárodnej scéne, ako etablovaný aktér performerskej špičky. Ťažisko výstavy tvorili ikonické performance (Ľudský hľadinomer, 2013, Budapešť; Kto si ty Piri? 2015 – 2023, Machu Picchu, Oaxaca, New York, Jeruzalem, Hongkong; Čakanie na zázrak, 2015, Jeruzalem, 2016 Budapešť; Transport času, 2016, Lijiang; Národné sny, 2016, Changsha; Niečo sa stane, 2018, Bratislava – Viedeň; Macondo I.- II., 2022, Praha, Jáger), v ktorých autor skúmal reakcie okolia, problém národnej či kultúrnej identity, zdieľania vedomostí a pocitov, zásadné otázky existencie, fungovanie pamäte, plynutia času – uvažoval o univerzálnych otázkach v univerzálnych kategóriách - v rámci vlastnej subjektívnej histórie, „stredoeurópanstva“ a cestovateľa. Od roku 2011 Rokko Juhász sa stal cestovateľom medzi svetmi - kozmonomádom – naplno rozvinul rolu sprostredkovateľa „kultúrnej misie“ a transkultúrneho dialógu. Prostredníctvom performance prepája rôzne krajiny s rôznymi spoločenským systémami a kultúrnymi tradíciami – od Číny, Thajska, Indie, Chile, Peru, Izrael, Bangladéš, Tajvan, Argentínu – po Mexiko – zdieľa vlastné skúsenosti a systém hodnôt.
