Kaple Matky Boží
Když na sklonku roku 1349 dal Karel IV. norimberským měšťanům souhlas se zřízením velkého tržiště na místě dosavadního židovského ghetta, a nepřímo tak připustil následný pogrom, vymínil si, že na místě synagogy vznikne kaple zasvěcená Panně Marii. Tak se také stalo. Za deset let byla stavba hotová a v čele nového tržiště se skvělo její nádherné průčelí s bohatě zdobenou a třemi portály otevřenou předsíní. Sál naší Paní je dodnes jedním ze symbolů města Norimberku. Mnohé jej ale pojí i s českým prostředím.
