Villanycigány - minden, vagy legalább amire emlékszem
"Senki, de tényleg senki nem venné kezébe ezt a könyvet, ha nem lennék véletlenül tagja annak a bizonyos zenekarnak" - állítja Christian Lorenz, azaz Flake, a Rammstein billentyűse első könyvéről, ami egyszerre az NDK mindennapjairól és zenei undergroundjáról szóló kordokumentum, fiatalkori visszaemlékezés és zenekarok története. A mű Németországban közel öt hónapig szerepelt a Der Spiegel bestsellerlistáján, első kiadása két hét alatt elfogyott.
A könyv eredeti címe, a Der Tastenficker (szó szerinti fordításban billentyűbasztató) a néhai NDK-ban egy szál szintetizátorral "vendéglátózó" zenészek gúnyneve volt. Martin Parr: Beach Therapy
During his long career as a photographer, Martin Parr has always photographed on beaches, particularly in the UK. He has often used the beach as a laboratory to experiment with new cameras and techniques. So far example, when he changed from black and white to medium format colour in the early 80s his first major project was about New Brighton, a run down seaside resort near Liverpool.
In recent months he has started exploring the beach with the aid of a telephoto lens. This lens is rarely used in the world of art and documentary photography so it is a challenge to find new ways of using it. Often this involves incorporating the vegetation on the perimeter with the beach as a backdrop, both in and out of focus.
So over his long career he has tried everything from a close up macro lens, a medium format wide angled camera and finally this latest offering with the telephoto.

2018 marks the centenary of Egon Schiele's death. To coincide with this occasion the publication will present the painting collection of the Belvedere Vienna including highlights such as Eduard Kosmack, House Wall, Death and Girl, The E mbrace and Four Tr ees. The book provides an opportunity to study the artist's work processes in greater detail and to follow the fascinating routes taken by his works before reaching the museum.
In 1918 the OEsterreichische Galerie under Director Franz M. Haberditzl was the first Austrian museum to acquire an oil painting by Schiele during his lifetime. Today the museum owns one of the top collections of paintings from the years 1907 - 1918 by the artist. The publication will examine each work separately and will answer questi ons with regard to their acquisition and subject as well as related works. At the same time, the results of the investigations into painting technique which the works have undergone since 2016 will be presented for the first time. Complementary essays the history of the collection and the changes to the stocks of Schiele's works which are taking place as a result of museum reforms, the exchange of pictures or the restitution of individual works.

Kniha, ktorá mapuje výstavné aktivity v Synagóge – Centre súčasného umenia v rokoch 1995 až 2000. Texty interpretujúce inštalácie konkrétnych autoriek a autorov boli napísané v rovnakom čase ako vznikali diela. Odzneli na vernisážach a boli publikované v skladačkách vydaných pri príležitosti jednotlivých výstav. Autorka Jana Geržová je historička, kritička a kurátorka. Špecializuje sa na rôzne aspekty umenia druhej polovice 20. storočia a súčasného umenia. Kurátorkou Synagógy – Centra súčasného umenia bola v rokoch 1994 – 2001.

Uplynulo sto let od konce 1. světové války a založení Československé republiky, jejíž existence trvala pouhých dvacet let. Ve městech a především po venkovské krajině východních Čech je na ni rozptýlena řada památek z oblasti hmotné kultury, které stojí za ochranu a péči, zachování do budoucích let a turistické objevování. Název výstavy Postkonceptuální antikoncepce odkazující k radikální kritické tradici DADA, v sobě zrcadlí pro současnost charakteristickou „hru s diskursem“. Výstava si zvolila jako analogon k „hernímu principu současného diskursu“ oblast farmakologie, konkrétně té spjaté s oddálením početí. Pokračování 2018: Antikoncepci v názvu projektu lze ale také vnímat jako ironickou metaforu označující způsob práce, který jde oproti racionálnímu kalkulu spíše cestou intuice a vciťování. Vždyť co je koncepční, to souvisí v první řadě s myšlením, s rozvahou, kalkulem, s nějakým ideovým rozvrhem, jenž sleduje a naplňuje konkrétní cíl.
