Pro mnohé z nás se historie udála v černé a bílé. Publikace mapuje proměny novinářské fotografie a nahlíží možnosti jejího uplatnění v české mediální krajině druhé poloviny 20. století. Rekapituluje postavení fotožurnalismu, jeho role a úrovně v jednotlivých vývojových etapách a snahy českých publicistů o vytvoření teoretických rámců. Mezi dobovými fotoreportéry a fotožurnalisty si autorka vybírá především ty, kteří svým pochopením pro fotografii a její nekonvenční uplatňování přesahovali obecně prosazované a akceptované standardy. Divided into 6 chapters, the book also includes maps and informative texts on the featured cities and constructions.
Oldřich Liska - Architekt východočeské moderny
Významný, avšak doposud opomíjený urbanista, výtvarný návrhář a architekt východočeské moderny Oldřich Liska (1881–1959) působil v letech 1908–1947 ve čtyřech královéhradeckých projekčních kancelářích. Během své činnosti byl autorem největšího počtu architektonických realizací v Hradci Králové v rámci meziválečného období. V tomto městě se také stal spoluautorem několika urbanizačních studií, které pak rozvíjel i v dalších obcích regionu (např. Pardubice, Třebechovice pod Orebem, Polička, Jaroměř, Kostelec nad Orlicí, Náchod).
Hlavní těžiště Liskovy činnosti ve dvacátých letech spočívalo v realizaci bloků nouzových obytných domů. Mezi další důležité aspekty architektovy tvorby patří inovační návrhy škol tzv. halové dispozice na východočeském venkově; nepřehlédnutelná je projektantova schopnost dobře se přizpůsobit nejnovějším architektonickým módním trendům.

Kniha Kresby z pantografu predstavuje výber nákresov Juraja Gábora k priestorovým realizáciám a výstavným projektom z rokov 2013 - 2016. Kresby boli vytvorené ručne. Charakter architektonických náčrtov sa strieda s prácami zdôrazňujúcimi abstraktné tvaroslovie, ktoré evokuje nemateriálne princípy (atmosféra, svetelnosť, rytmus, gradácia a i.). Vyznenie kresieb spoluvytvára druh papiera – jednotlivé priesvity odhaľujú pred nami nové vizuálne vzťahy.
Kresba je pomalým médiom. Vyžaduje čas i sústredenie nielen na strane autora, ale aj diváka/diváčky. Podstatným prvkom tvorby Juraja Gábora je snaha upriamiť našu pozornosť na často zanedbávané detaily a v neposlednom rade porozumieť, ako a na čo sa dívame.
Špivanky Servickej Hanky
Speváčka Anna Servická prináša na knižný trh spevník piesní s názvom Špivanky Servickej Hanky. Kniha má ambíciu byť celoživotnou úprimnou výpoveďou a vyvrcholením dlhej cesty hľadania a kráčania s pesničkou.
