Zábavná matematika a logika
Zošit 1 je určený pre žiakov do 10 rokov, pre samostatnú prácu aj poučenie. Poučenie z histórie začína Archimedom, ktorý bol pravdepodobne najväčším matematikom a mechanikom svojej doby - v staroveku. Prvá úloha je venovaná píleniu polien a zisťovaniu počtu klátikov. Druhá, určeniu o koľko viac priamok prechádza piatimi než troma bodmi. Ďalšia je venovaná deleniu vecí, ak je potreba a možnosť veci deliť na časti. Úloha s balónom je na vytváranie predstáv o priestorovom pohybe. Logiku začíname spoznávaním čo je a čo nie je výrok. Ďalej je spoznávanie kužeľosečiek - kružnice, elipsy, paraboly a hyperboly. Je tam aj niekoľko úloh na doplňovanie čísel a súčtov do magických štvorcov. Na delení uhlov do podmnožín vysvetľujeme pojem klasifikácie ako vstupného pojmu do vedy. Postupnostiam čísel sú venované dve úlohy a grafickému znázorneniu pohybu tri úlohy. Životu mladého K. F. Gaussa je venovaná jedna strana textu. Odpovede na položené úlohy sú v závere zošita. Úlohy a odpovede sú postavené nielen pre samostatné štúdium, ale aj na diskusiu medzi žiakom a rodičom, resp. učiteľom.
