Výpravná kniha vůbec poprvé představuje práci brněnského performera a konceptuálního umělce Vladimíra Ambroze. V sedmdesátých letech minulého století chtěl dát svému životu naléhavější smysl a současně reflektovat pokřivenou dobu. Publikace představuje projevy českého výtvarného umění šedesátých let, které se programově věnují vztahu obrazu a slova. Jde zejména o díla navazující na tehdejší experimentální postupy v umění, na druhé straně reagující na tehdy pociťovanou vyprázdněnost jazyka. To přivedlo řadu autorů k úvahám o relativnosti spojení slova a toho, co označuje. Ryba - Duetti par il Clavicembalo o Fortepiano con Violino solo
Jakub Jan Ryba (1765 – 1815) byl jedním z nejvýznamnějších představitelů českých hudebních kantorů 18. a 19. století. Nejvíce ho proslavila všeobecně známá Česká mše vánoční „Hej mistře“ z roku 1796, ale v poslední době roste zájem také o jeho další tvorbu. Je známo, že Rybovo komorní dílo bylo velmi rozsáhlé. Přesto se do dnešních dnů dochoval jen malý zlomek těchto jeho kompozic a každý autograf či opis je tak vzácný. Toto vydání Rybovy skladby s názvem Duetti par il Clavicembalo o Fortepiano con Violino solo bylo pořízeno na základě jediného dochovaného opisu. S největší pravděpodobností nejde o Rybův autograf, ale o dobový opis, na jehož titulní straně je jako autor uveden Ryba (Composti del. Giac. Giov. Ryba). Dochovaný opis Rybových duet se nyní nachází v Českém muzeu hudby v Praze. Dueta stylově vycházejí z hudebního klasicismu a jde o plnohodnotné sonáty.

Ve společenství bohů a hrdinů
Antická mytologie tvořila nezastupitelnou součást barokní nástěnné malby, neboť se stala očekávatelnou formou (nejen) světské reprezentace, plníc tak prostory většiny zámeckých a palácových rezidencí.
Šíře dané problematiky je obrovská, protože takřka všechny paláce a zámecké komplexy, které byly v průběhu barokního období dekorovány, nesou na svých stropech či stěnách mytologickou látku. V rámci publikace se pozornost obrací k výzdobám venkovských šlechtických sídel v rozmezí let 1650–1690, které ukazují, že mytologická tematika sleduje několik důležitých ideových rovin. Příběhy antických mýtů a postavy antických bohů odkazovaly nejen k narativním schématům samotným, ale reprezentovaly přírodní síly a pohyby astrálních těles, připomínaly odvážné skutky velkých mužů a ctnostných žen, a především plnily reprezentační strategie aristokratů 17. století. Objednavatelé skrze mytologické syžety prezentovali velikost svého rodu či vojenské úspěchy s odkazem na legitimitu svého postavení v rámci společenských a mocenských struktur. Ke stejným účelům sloužily také početné svatební alegorie, oslavující nově nabytá území skrze sňatkovou politiku a vyjadřující víru v pokračování rodové kontinuity.
