Prototyping is an essential part of the designer's repertoire. Designers prototype their projects to test them, structurally, aesthetically, technically. Whether the prototype works or not is not the point: prototyping is the revelatory process through which the designer gains insight. There are three reasons why contemporary prototyping techniques are transforming the way architects design and build: at a miniature scale, prototyping aids the architect in the presentation to clients of complex spatial ideas; prototyping empowers the architect-designer to test and prove a building's feasibility, leading to more open-minded construction solutions; and whether additive (3D printing) or subtractive (robotic milling), prototyping can lead to unexpected and exciting new possibilities within design as a whole, across design disciplines, thus blurring the boundaries between them in highly creative ways. Ladislav Hodný (1943):
Od dětství toužil malovat, zprvu splnil přání svého otce a stal, stejně jako on, uměleckým knihařem. V osmdesátých letech minulého století byl dokonce dvorním knihařem Lyry Pragensis, což byla ve své době prestižní a svým způsobem nezávislá umělecká instituce. Logicky tak ve své výtvarné tvorbě zprvu navazoval na svá předchozí díla.
Těžiště tvorby zajímají abstraktní velkoformátová plátna. Ve skutečnosti přenáší motivy a techniky z knižních vazeb do velkých ploch a je až zvláštní, jak lehce dosahuje dokonalé harmonické rovnováhy ve svých obrazech. Inspiruje ho hudba, miluje jazz, krajina, ale sám říká, že jeho inspirací je vlastně vše a malování jej osvobozuje. Je to jeho nitěrný soukromý duševní ráj, naplněný intenzivními pocity rozkoše, radosti a vzrušení. Často kombinuje na obrazech různé techniky, vrstvení, proškrabávání, krakelování a využívá i zlatou fólii. Je členem Jednoty výtvarných umělců, Asociace jihočeských výtvarníků, členem Book Art Center v New Yorku a také členem Designer Book Binders v Londýně.

The push and pull factors may shift, the nexus of conflict relocates from Rwanda to Syria, but the people who leave their homes tell the same tale: deprivation, hardship, and glimmers of hope, plotted along a journey of great psychological, as well as physical, toil.Salgado spent six years with migrant peoples, visiting more than 35 countries to document displacement on the road, in camps, and in overcrowded city slums where new arrivals often end up. Led by Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Fritz Bleyl, Erich Heckel, and Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, the group sought to reject the limits of academia and, as their name suggested, to bridge the path to an artistic future. Their manifesto, printed with woodblock, insisted on absolute freedom from convention in their work as well as their lives.This new, liberated art incorporated portraits, landscapes, and city scenes, but substituted an objective rendering of reality with an expression of interior geography. In paintings, as well as their favored wood and linocut prints, the artists of Die Brucke would fill pictorial space with jagged lines, crude forms, and clashing colors, all to express their subjective experience of the world.
