Obrazy, kresby i grafiku od 60. do 90 let 20. století představuje poněkud šířeji než na samotné výstavě. Dokládá tím v neposlední řadě rozsah sbírky i mistrovská díla, která jsou ve sbírce zastoupena. Wood has very many positive attributes as a natural construction material, but was for a long time neglected in the architecture of western Europe. However, this situation has changed a great deal over the course of recent decades. Construction with wood has gained a solid reputation and is seen as a valid alternative to traditional building with bricks. Wood also offers many advantages: processing it is both energy-efficient and environmentally friendly, the construction time is short, and it is a very durable material. Many wooden constructions have withstood the test of time over hundreds of years. The most important reason for selecting wood, though, is the pleasant atmosphere enjoyed by owners of wooden houses. This also applies when wood is used as an essential element of an interior: floors, panelling and fitted cabinetwork create a welcoming feeling of warmth and cosiness in a home.

Publikace shrnuje příspěvky z mezinárodního workshopu konaného v listopadu 2011 v Praze. Seminář se zabýval tématem šoa/holokaustu v literatuře, v divadle a filmu v padesátých a šedesátých letech. Navázal na předchozí workshopy v německém Gießenu a v polské Łódzi (2010, 2011). Jednotlivé příspěvky se soustřeďují zvláště na českou a polskou literaturu (Jiří Weil, Norbert Frýd, Jan Otčenášek, Ladislav Fuks, Josef Škvorecký, Adolf Rudnicki, diskurz šoa v polské literatuře), na drama a divadlo (Leon Kruczkowski, Ireneusz Iredyński, Hedda Zinner, západoněmecké drama s tématem šoa), film (Spalovač mrtvol, Jákob lhář), ale také na kresby dětí v Terezíně či zobrazení šoa z pohledu dítěte. Příspěvky vycházejí v anglickém a německém jazyce ve spolupráci s Centrem židovských studií FF UK.
