Dlouho postrádaná monografie o největším a současně jakoby nejkontroverznějším českém divadelním režisérovi Karlu Hugo Hilarovi (1885–1935) vychází z nejžhavější problematiky jeho šéfování ve Vinohradském divadle a v činohře Národního divadla: Byl diktátor? Nebo své herce opravdu inspiroval a vybudoval nejlepší činoherní soubor, který tvořil základ činohry Národního divadla ještě v 60. letech minulého století? Příběh jeho života a díla, tvořících výjimečnou jednotu, dovoluje nahlédnout tam, kde se tvoří předpoklady pro to, co pak obecenstvo vidí na jevišti: do složitých vztahů divadelního zákulisí, divadla a kritiky a samozřejmě divadla a doby, která nebyla jednoduchá. Tak předkládaná kniha nabízí i důležitý pohled na kulturní poměry první Československé republiky, která za Hilarova života vznikla a skončila tři roky po jeho smrti.

Nem hagyható figyelmen kívül, hogy a létrehozandó előadás kisebb vagy nagyobb emlékezetközösségnek szól, s nem ragadható meg sem a klasszikus reprezentációelméletek, sem az avantgárd, neoavantgárd, sem a posztmodern művészetelméletek modelljeivel.
Az 1960-as évek közepétől megjelent a "szakrális színház" fogalma, ami - Hankovszky Tamás szerint - "hidat ver a múlt megszentelt pillanatai és a jelen között" és a "rituális színház", amely - P. Müller Péter szavaival - a szentmise jegyeivel idézi fel a történetet.

Oloid
This monograph shows how the oloid, a timelessly beautiful geometric body, serves today more than ever as a source of inspiration and functional component in the visual arts and design, in technology and research, in architecture, philosophy, and music.
In 1929, the sculptor, inventor and researcher Paul Schatz (1898-1971) discovered the geometric form of the oloid. Schatz' lifework was characterized by this fundamentally new body, which emerged from movement, for which he sought and found new and pioneering applications for a number of decades. This monograph, rich in images and generally understandable, shows how today, more than ever, the timelessly beautiful oloid serves as a source of inspiration and a functional element.
This is true for the fine arts and design, in technology and research, in architecture, philosophy or music. Close aesthetic references to the contemporaneous sculptures of Naum Gabo, Constantin Brancusi, or Henry Moore are just as surprising as current homages to Paul Schatz by artists such as Ólafur Eliasson. Reprezentatívna obrazová publikácia poprednej slovenskej textilnej výtvarníčky a módnej návrhárky Ley Fekete. V slovenskom kontexte ide o prvú monografiu o módnej návrhárke.
Fekete svojou multižánrovosťou prekračuje hranice voľnej autorskej tvorby od odevnej, textilnej k šperku, od zákazkovej modelovej tvorby k produktovému dizajnu, od módy ku kostýmu. Predstaviť čitateľom jej tvorbu si preto vyžadovalo spoluautorský tím. Publikáciu otvára veľmi osobný príhovor režisérky, scenáristky a spisovateľky Evy Borušovičovej, ktorá s Leou Fekete opakovane spolupracovala. Nástup Ley na módnu scénu v turbulentných 90. rokoch predstavili historička umenia Katarína Hubová a módna teoretička a publicistka Dana Lapšanská. Historička módy Eva Hasalová analyzuje odevnú tvorbu Ley Fekete a Viera Kleinová, historička umenia a kurátorka niektorých Leiných výstav, sa v dvoch samostatných textoch vyjadrila k tvorbe šperkov a bytových textílií. Leu Fekete ako kostýmovú výtvarníčku predstavila historička umenia a divadelná teoretička Zuzana Gašpar Koblišková. Knihu dopĺňa rozhovor so známym slovenským violončelistom Jozefom Luptákom, ktorý si na vystúpenia oblieka už takmer 20 rokov košele od Ley Fekete. V závere nechýba prehľadne spracované podrobné curriculum vitae.
Táto mimoriadne pútavá a vizuálne impozantná monografia uspokojí nielen odbornú verejnosť, ale aj všetkých milovníkov módy a krásna.

The representative illustrated publication by the leading Slovak textile artist and fashion designer Lea Fekete. It is the first monograph on a fashion designer in the Slovak context.
Fekete's multi-genre work crosses the boundaries of free authorial creation from clothing, textile to jewellery, from custom model making to product design, from fashion to costume. Presenting her work to readers therefore required a team of co-authors. The publication opens with a very personal introduction by the director, screenwriter, and writer Eva Borušovičová, who has collaborated with Lea Fekete on numerous occasions. Lea's emergence on the fashion scene in the turbulent 1990s is presented by the art historian Katarína Hubová and the fashion theorist and publicist Dana Lapšanská. The fashion historian Eva Hasalová analyses Lea Fekete's clothing production and Viera Kleinová, art historian and curator of some of Lea's exhibitions, comments on the creation of jewellery and home textiles in two separate texts. Lea Fekete as a costume designer was introduced by the art historian and theatre theorist Zuzana Gašpar Koblišková. The book is accompanied by an interview with the well-known Slovak cellist Jozef Lupták, who has been wearing Lea Fekete's shirts for his performances for almost 20 years. A clearly detailed curriculum vitae is included at the end.
This extremely engaging and visually impressive monograph will satisfy not only the professional public, but also all lovers of fashion and beauty.

Adam Kašpar
Adam Kašpar (1993) patří k výrazným představitelům nejmladší generace českých malířů. Je absolventem (2018) Akademie výtvarných umění v Praze (Ateliér malířství IV profesora Martina Mainera).
Obecným míněním je považován za realistického malíře, což v jeho pojetí neodkazuje ani tak k samotnému technickému pojetí malby či k její vnějškové podobě jako spíše k vnitřnímu prožitku, k přímému, konkrétnímu, pravdivému, a tedy realistickému pohledu a ztvárňování světa, který jej obklopuje. Sám sebe však považuje především za pozorovatele a jednu ze součástí přírody a malířství je pro něj sice zásadním, avšak stále jen prostředkem k tomu, aby výsledky svého pozorování mohl tlumočit i ostatním.
Tematicky se jeho tvorba pohybuje v prostoru mezi nebem (astronomická pozorování), zemí (lesy, pralesy a krajina) a podzemím (geologické průzkumy). Za svými motivy pravidelně jezdí nejen po českých zemích, ale i do zahraničí (Mongolsko, Bosna, Island, Skotsko...). Příležitostně spolupracuje s přírodovědci, jmenovitě s Českou geologickou službou, NP Šumava nebo Národním muzeem. Jeho domovem i ateliérem jsou Jeseníky.
Monografie představuje tři tvůrčí okruhy Adama Kašpara, zahrnuje jeho geologické, ekologické a astronomické studie. Autory studií jsou Jan Dotřel, Pavel Dvořák, Barbora Kundračíková a Matthew Rampley.
Adam Kašpar (1993) is one of the prominent representatives of the youngest generation of Czech artists. He graduated (2018) from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (Painting Studio IV, led by Martin Mainer).
He is generally regarded as a realist painter, which in his understanding refers neither to the technical conception of painting nor to its external form, but rather to an inner experience, to a direct, concrete, truthful, and therefore realistic view and depiction of the world that surrounds him. However, he considers himself primarily an observer and one of the components of nature, and painting is for him an essential, but nevertheless, a means to communicate the results of his observation to others.
Thematically, his work lies in the space between the sky (astronomical observations), the earth (forests and landscapes) and the underground (geological explorations). He regularly travels not only in the Czech lands but also abroad (Mongolia, Bosnia, Iceland, Scotland...) in search of his motifs. Occasionally, he cooperates with natural scientists, namely with the Czech Geological Survey, NP Šumava or the National Museum. His home and studio are in Jeseníky Mountains.
The monograph presents the three creative areas of Adam Kaspar, including his geological, ecological, and astronomical studies. The authors of the studies are Jan Dotřel, Pavel Dvořák, Barbora Kundračíková and Matthew Rampley.
