Hiroshige
Roughly twenty-five years after Hokusai released his series of ukiyo-e prints depicting Japan's most recognisable symbol, Hiroshige took on the subject as well-a common practice among the era's printmakers. Adolf Loos světoobčan
ADOLF LOOS SVĚTOOBČAN je doprovodnou publikací ke stejnojmenné výstavě, kterou u příležitosti 150. výročí narození světoznámého tvůrce moderní architektury Adolfa Loose (10. 12. 1870 - 23. 8. 1933) připravilo Muzeum města Prahy ve spolupráci s Národním technickým muzeem. Výstava se konala od 10. prosince 2020 do 3. října 2021.
Kniha ADOLF LOOS SVĚTOOBČAN představuje nejdůležitější body Loosova učení o architektuře a životním stylu, které byly a jsou signifikantní pro jeho celoživotní dílo. Na příkladech barevných fotografií Loosových interiérů, především z pražské Müllerovy vily a plzeňských realizací, jsou zde představeny pro Loose specifické principy: Vztah mezi exteriérem a interiérem, symetrie, organizování prostorů pomoci enfilády a Raumplanu. Zároveň jsme chtěli kolekcí fotografií připomenout průzkum díla Adolfa Loose v českých zemích, který zahájilo Muzeum hlavního města Prahy již v roce 2003. Díky průzkumu a aktivitám Studijního a dokumentačního centra Adolfa Loose se podařilo znovu dostat Loosovo dílo do širokého povědomí. To mj. následně vedlo ke zdařilé obnově několika plzeňských interiérů a v posledním roce i záchraně jedné z prvních Loosových staveb na Moravě vily Viktora Bauera v Hrušovanech u Brna.

Proto se odvažujte vstoupit do libosadu zvrácenosti Antonína Tesaře jedině ozbrojeni empatií i vhledem pod povrch, a pokud svázáni, pak nikoliv konvencemi, leč lany či řemeny hluboce zaříznutými do masa. Publikace Jan Zrzavý a Benátky se po rozebrání prvního vydání z roku 2010 a dotisku z roku 2011 dočkala druhého, rozšířeného vydání, v němž je uveden kompletní soubor 25 obrazů, které Jan Zrzavý daroval benátským kapucínům. Tato knížka je výslednicí mé cesty, která začala studiem korespondence Jana Zrzavého v Knihovně Národního muzea v Praze a za pomoci mých italských přátel prof. E. Bucciola a prof. G. B. Katalog Suška Kameny / Škoda Objekty vychází ke stejnojmenné výstavě Michala Škody a Čestmíra Sušky konané v Zámku Troja od 6. dubna do 3. října 2022. Michal Škoda pracuje s maximálně redukovanými tvary, které v prostoru hybridně expandují a nepřipomínají tak klasické stereometrické útvary. Působí jako objekty odvozené z futuristické architektury nebo schránky ukrývající nějaké magické tajemství. Vedle toho se intenzivně zabývá kresbou, která je plošným vyjádřením prostorových rozvrhů sledovaných v objektech. Vedle minimalistického tvarosloví je důležitou výrazovou složkou jeho prací užití černého monochromu nebo jednoduchého kontrastu černé a bílé. Čestmír Suška svou práci často definuje skrze materiál. V současnosti stojí pevnýma nohama v nové etapě, která je svázána s kamenem. Perforované cisterny jsou minulostí a odebírání hmoty z kamenného bloku představuje zcela opačný sochařský postup, který vyžaduje nejen řemeslo a flexibilní vnímání kvality kamene, ale nesmí zároveň dojít k ohnutí původní koncepce budoucího díla.
