Sedmdesátiletý junior Ano, je to tak. Jan Rajlich v tomto roce slaví sedmdesátiny. Chtělo by se říci: v plné svěžesti tvůrčí, pedagogické a v řadě dalších činností, např. neúnavné organizační, dokumentační a Jak by také ne, když přídomek mladší, junior (jr.) mu zůstane už na celý život. Je to pochopitelně proto, že se již v opravdu mladém věku vydal na obdobnou profesní dráhu jako jeho otec, jehož sté výročí narození si v tomto roce také připomínáme a který se dožil úctyhodného věku devadesáti šesti let. Práce obou Rajlichů je sice dobře rozlišitelná, ale protože se léta oba současně účastnili řady mezinárodních bienále, trienále i spolkových výstav (SBB, Sdruženi Q) a uskutečnili i několik výstav společných ve dvojici či skupině více tvůrců rodu Rajlichů, pro brněnské J. R. se rozlišeni starší a mladší zcela přirozeně vžilo a je tak také uváděno v desítkách a stovkách katalogů a dokumentů. Říkejme tedy pro zjednodušení nadále mladšímu: Honza Vzpomínám si: za necelou desítku sezon jsme ve spolupráci s HaDivadlem Brno uspořádali jako Sdruženi Bienále Brno celou řadu výstav. Spolkových, autorských i tematických. Protože Honza byl vedle dalších aktivních, především brněnských, kolegů jedním z těch, kteří se na jejich přípravě pravidelně podíleli, není divu, že k některým navrhoval i propagaci. V té době působily v divadle také dvě mladé a milé ženy, které nám organizačně i jinak pomáhaly. Schylovalo se k vernisáži výstavy Novoročenky PF06!. Postával jsem s těmi dámami ve foyer před plakátem, který navrhl právě Honza. Plakát nese v tiráži údaj Design: Jan Rajlich, Jr. 2005. A děvčata ho komentovala: To je hezké, že váš spolek dává příležitost také dětem V tu chvíli po schodech přicházeli oba pánové Rajlichové a já jsem dívkám vysvětlil, že se musím jít pozdravit s panem Rajlichem starším a jeho (tehdy pětapadesátiletým) dítětem a smál jsem se. A ony se začaly překotně omlouvat. Nemusely objevily nebo jen správně vycítily jednu (velmi podstatnou) z vrstev, která se Honzovou výtvarnou prací vine jako jedna z jeho červených nití. Mám na mysli tu vrstvu, která si ve své mladistvé, někdy až bezstarostně dětské hravosti zachovává věčné mládí. Domníval jsem se, že touto vzpomínkou bych mohl svoji poznámku k Honzově práci vlastně zakončit, neboť jsem si téměř jist, že dalšími neméně důležitými vrstvami Honzových výtvarných prací (filozofii, humorem, formou, obsahem a technikami) se budou podrobněji i odborněji zabývat ostatní přispěvatelé této jubilejní knihy. Jenže teprve nedávno jsem měl možnost se poprvé po rocích naší známosti a spolupráce seznámit s ukázkami jeho rané i velmi rané tvorby. Odhlédnuto od několika dílek, která jsou vlastní snad většině dětí, obsahují tyto skicáky počáteční krajinářské záznamy, které se po celou dobu misí s portréty (převážně otce a dalších rodinných příslušníků, v dobách pozdějších pak budoucí nyní už řadu let současné manželky Aleny) a s kresbami, kde se to figurami a figurkami jen hemží, a to i když ony třeba leží. Podle používané techniky a materiálů jsou v nich rychle, jen jakoby psané záznamy tenkými či robustními tahy a jemnými či ostrými barevnými plochami a skvrnami. Vedle nich jsou ovšem zcela jasně vymezené kompozice, opět kreslené i malované, které svojí stavbou již nesou znaky zcela dokončených listů. (Při záznamech z cest je v jejich přesném vnímání prostoru už patrný odkaz k jeho pozdějším studiím architektury a designu.)

Génius geometrické abstrakce a kinetického umění, multimediální umělec a průzkumník nových prostorových iluzí. Tak by se dala charakterizovat umělecká osobnost výtvarníka Milana Dobeše, který za svou nadčasovou tvorbu získal např. Zlatou medaili na Trienále grafiky v Norsku v roce 1999. Publikace v soustředěném grafickém provedení Kristiny Ambrozové shrnuje dílo tohoto průkopníka evropského op-artu, zároveň je komplexním záznamem úspěšné výstavy Milan Dobeš 90, kterou pro ostravské Milan Dobeš Museum v roce 2019 připravila kurátorská dvojce Jan Světlík a Zdeněk Sklenář.

Tento druhý soubor 7 etud je opět koncipován pro začátečníky s jednoduššími party, zvláště pro bicí soupravu. Je zde zachováván koncept s nepatrnou narůstající náročností, aby si začínající hráči mohli zahrát komorní hru s jiným nástrojem bez větších technických problémů. Jsou zde nabídnuty pro bicí soupravu dvě verze provedení easy (lehká) - pro začátečníky a advanced (pokročilejší) - pro uplatnění vyspělejších hráčů. Jsou to vlastně dueta pro bicí soupravu a piano, které je ale možno hrát živě, jelikož part piana najdete v příloze. Taktéž náročnost pianového partu je obdobná jako v bicí soupravě. Má sice jen jednu verzi náročnosti ale byl brán zřetel na přibližnou vyváženost, aby etudy byly hratelné v prvních cyklech základních škol. Etudy jsou psány v několika rytmických stylech. Najdete zde základní rytmy twistu, beatu, swingu, bossa novy a shufflu. Také je zde prostor pro breaky a sóla. Po více než dvaceti letech vychází teprve druhá kniha brněnského fotografa Jaroslava Pulicara (*1954). Autor je jeden z nejméně známých ze známých českých dokumentaristů. Jeho práce je známa jen několika málo zasvěceným. Autorových výstav bychom spočítali na prstech jedné ruky a textů zabývajících se hlouběji jeho prací máme k dispozici ještě méně. After Egon Schiele (1890-1918) freed himself from the shadow of his mentor and role model Gustav Klimt, he had just ten years to inscribe his signature style into the annals of modernity before the Spanish flu claimed his life. Being a child prodigy quite aware of his own genius and a passionate provocateur, this didn't prove to be too big a challenge. His haggard, overstretched figures, extreme depiction of sexuality and self-portraits, in which he staged himself with emaciated facial expressions bordering between brilliance and madness, had none of the decorative quality of Klimt's hymns of love, sexuality and yearning devotion. Jak se politické konflikty promítají do divadelního prostředí a jak naopak divadlo vstupuje do společenských procesů? Coby historik a současně člověk dlouhodobě činný v kulturní politice se Bohumil Nekolný domnívá, že řada problémů české kultury a konkrétně divadelnictví pramení z ne zcela zvládnutého transformačního procesu na přelomu 80. a 90. let. Knihu tvořenou vlastními statěmi, úvahami a polemikami z této doby rámuje závěrečnou studií, která má za cíl v historickém kontextu upozornit právě na přetrvávající problémy systému provozování a podpory živého umění v Česku.

Jan Šmíd je fotograf, krajinář. Je jedním ze tří Čechů, kteří jsou nositeli nejcennějšího a nejprestižnějšího fotografického titulu Master QEP (Master Qualified European Photographer udělovaný Federation of European Photographers v Bruselu). Zatím za své fotografie získal více než 200 medailí a ocenění, které pro sebe, ale zejména pro českou fotografii vybojoval na mezinárodních fotografických soutěžích. Když se řekne "fotografie", každý si představí "cvak" a hotovo. Jan Šmíd pracuje metodou skládané fotografie, kdy jeden motiv vzniká z desítek až stovek jednotlivých snímků.
